In context Mathew 24 is speaking about the destruction of Jersulam the evenst that were to take place prior to and after its destruction. Mathew 24:1-3Time is running out for this world, of course that doesn't bother Jehovah's witnesses, we are anxious for God's new world of righteousness. 2Peter 3:11-13
We must have to have patience with endurance to survive the final last days of this world, we haven't seen anything to really test our faith, I call it the meat grinder, and it will affect every person on this planet.
Now is the time to start your personal Bible study with Jehovah's witnesses, it takes accurate knowledge of the Scriptures to be able to make the decision to serve Jehovah God or not, it is true, only God's dedicated people will survive Armageddon, everyone else will be swept away, no matter what they believe.
Interesting to note is the preaching of the Good news of those days was restricted to the Jewish disciples and after pentocost it was reserved exclusively to those who were a part of God's immediate family their being no provisions for them to delegate the preaching to none family members.
When the Romans slaughtered those who didn't want Yeshua (jesus)to be King over them and destroyed their temple structures indicated the preaching of the good news was accomplished. The great tribulation for this society wasn't to be repeated as it had been in the past because it wasn't to be ressurected.
"But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come...for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again."
