If World Peace is signed then I think it helps them in the short term. Not sold on the Toronto trade because I'm not should it will make that much of a different. Rebounding is still an issue on this team. Leslie look very athletic and Tyler looks good as a rebounder with low post scoring. Has anybody seen the 7' kid play?

World Peace at 33 years old?? Murray, Leslie and Tyler look good to me in yesterday win over Washington. Where is the 7'0" kid they signed? Not sure about bring back K. Martin. Those Five rookies(Hardaway, Murray, Leslie, Tyler and 7' kid) could make the Knicks alot younger. This could make this team interesting.
I just spoke to my sons friend, who has played with Mathews. He says the guy's a "house, and put up some big numbers, but thats playing D3". At D3, if you see a center bigger than 6'6".....it's usually because he's no good, and can't even play D2. So he hasn't seen much competition in college, but that doesn't mean he can't play.

If the Lakers are interested in Melo in 2014 then make the trade now and let them have Amare'. How about getting Jordan Hill(back) and 2 first round picks. We could then trade the picks and however else they want for D. Cousins(Kings). Even though Copeland is gone this could be a good team with Leslie, Hardaway, Tyler, and Murray. Liam McMurrow is very interesting to me. He's 7'2', 260 and just started learning the game of basketball. Now if A.J. Matthews can turn into a decent player then this could inject youth in this team. Cousin, Hill, Hardaway, Leslie, Tyler, Murray, McMurrow, and Matthews with veterans Fulton, World Peace and Chandler. Maybe the Kings will want JR Smith.

With Knicks and Lakers being over the cap they would have to match salaries in order to trade right now, Lakers will have cap space next season, so a possibility of a trade in not happening. Amare is a dead contract unless he retires.

The New York Blackerbockers....the laughing stock of New York basketball. Prokhorov said he'd put Jimmy Boy and the Blackebockers in the comic section within 5 years of him purchasing the Nets...and he's right on target

Have you seen A.J. Matthews play? I missed his minutes in the summer league so I can't full gauge anything about him.

The contract overstates his ability, at least Allen played the majority of his bloated contract.

A major project that will never play in NY, I've been wrong before, but pretty confident on this one.

I've heard he could have gone D1 easily, but his grades were horrible. Then again, not many 7 footers couldn't go D1

hey devil,
We don't have nothing but time if he is a major project. If you can play BB, again, if you can play BB then it isn't a major project. Just because he didn't go to a major college doesn't mean anything(if you can play). With the league not having very many good big man there is always a chance. If with the right coaching(Akeem O'& Jabbar) then maybe we could get something out of him. That is why the Knicks fail with Curry.

What is your take on Liam McMurrow then??

Never heard of him, and Curry has failed at every NBA stop, I wouldn't put that on Knicks, Chicago gave up on him early, hmmmm.

Curry avg. 19 points for us so don't think that is failure. At that point you know he can score so work on his deficiencies(rebounding and defense). He should have been moved to the 2nd team and a big man coach hired. They did neither and that is why you have failure.

10 games played his last 2 season in NY, played two season of 81 games, after 2008 he decided it was easier to just take Dolan's money.
