Come to Jackson Heights via public transportation, or if you must drive, obey the signs, and be willing to walk a few blocks. Personally I see innumerable instances of double-parking on the commercial avenue, which should be ticketed because of the inconvenience they cause, and they never get ticketed. But since the E, F, G, R, V and 7 trains all stop at Roosevelt Avenue, it's best to come by public transportation.
But thanks to whoever posted the warning, as I live here, and I hate getting parking tickets.

I hung out in Jackson Heights more than 20 years ago and never got a parking ticket, even when I frequently overstayed parking meters on Northern Blvd. I hope the ticket writers aren't hurting the restaurants and other businesses in this wonderful place that fills my mind with great memories.

double parkers should get ticketed. they are definitely not getting busted as much as they should. ive been around the world, and the u.s. i must say, the worst drivers are in the new york area.

I don't think you have been to this area of western Nevada, at least not recently. These Reno/Carson City area drivers are horrible, especially the ones who have recently moved here from California. They drive side-by-side on highways having 2 lanes each way at 15-20 m.p.h. below the speed limit and get mad when you want to pass them. I'll gladly take NY/NJ/CT drivers over these idiots any day!
