Recently they took away all their ratings, reviews, and discussions. These were 3 of the major selling points to Hulu. Also they let you sign in to watch shows using FaceBook. So now it's not even worth the extra effort to even sign up for a free Hulu account. They seriously jumped the shark with these bad ideas. Even though you can make comments hidden way at the bottom of each page they lean on Facebook for the login script & posts. So even owning a Hulu account is a moot point. They had made TV interactive by allowing us to make comments, rate shows, and discuss topics which drew a lot of us to Hulu in the first place. Just the other day I closed my free account because basically I don't need it now. It's useless. If I need to watch a show or movie on Hulu that requires me to sign in, I can simply sign in using FaceBook. Aside from some of the many annoying changes they've made that people have been complaining about of the last few years it is their most recent changes that have sunk Hulu - by killing the interactiveness of their website. Millions of fans couldn't wait to make both good and bad reviews of shows and movies they love & hate. It made us feel empowered. Now that is gone except for the FaceBook comment section hidden at the very bottom of each page, which really isn't the same. Now all this said - it is sad that Hulu doesn't realize that people are more apt to sign up for Hulu Plus if they are enticed to sign up for the Free Account in the first place. But any and all enticements are pretty much gone. Plus all the bad press Hulu is getting from upset customers that are feeling let down by Hulu Plus not being all that it's cracked up to be is a real blow to Hulu. However, you have to hand it to them that few websites offer what Hulu does in way of shows and such. I've tried sites like Crackle but their search results often included results from Hulu. ha ha ha There is always Netflix in which you can pay for far better selections of shows and movies but where is the interaction? It seems like we've taken a giant leap backwards in the evolution of the internet. Not just with Hulu but with sites like YouTube, Facebook, Google and a few other top sites making some rather disgusting and annoying changes they seem to be trying to scare us all away or corral us into services and tools that we didn't really want in the first place. What are they smoking??? Anyway. These giants are riding on their popularity but as soon as something better comes along they are pretty much sunk. If a site opens up much like Hulu that offers Star Ratings, Discussions, Reviews, and more current shows people are going to jump ship. Specially now that Hulu doesn't even offer these features anymore since this August 2012. September is right around the corner and millions of Fall & Winter TV fans are going to be spending more time indoors. There are still millions of people who don't realize what Hulu has done this summer and will be very disappointed when they sign into Hulu only to find that it is no longer interactive... Hmmmmm A ton of commercials and no interaction, no way to give feedback... well that sounds a lot like just regular TV to me which I already own one. Not much appeal left on Hulu anymore when they have a limited number of shows without paying for Hulu Plus and NO interactive capabilities. And what often seems like MORE commercial breaks and more commercials within each break than regular TV does. Gee even the owners of the Titanic didn't go around purposely drilling holes in their ship. ha ha ha

PS: From what I've heard, read, and seen it doesn't seem to make sense to bother paying for Hulu Plus since you aren't going to get that many more shows and/or episodes.

You can still make comments but it's hidden. Also they changed it back to you needing an account to sign in. But yeh at first they simply let you use FB to sign in but I think they caught on to their mistake and changed it back. Which doesn't make sense that you still have the option of signing in with FB to watch videos because they are going to make you sign in using Hulu anyway. Though you can post comments simply by using FB. Also I think Hulu's new look is annoying and too in your face sort of like Bings obnoxious home page looks.

Can hulu please go back to the last working update? The new search which has no way to filter clips from movies from trailers is horrible! The removal of the episode and clip list is the wrong direction to go in! How about a compromise, bring back the old list and put thumbnails next to the each item in the list? Or just add the lists back to the bottom of the pages so users can select either method. And for the love of puppies can hulu please bring back the old filters on the search page so we hopeless fools can just find movies and not all the stinkin clips and such! Oh and of course all praise MS IE who paid hulu to mess up their site, thank you MS! Everyone get linux or Macs to boycott these bad design changes! THANK YOU and HAVE a NICE DAY!

I don't like Hulu's new home page where their search is. With the show images now taking up most the screen it's way too in your face. It's distracting while your trying to think of what to type. Sort of like Bing with it's loud annoying background images.

Hulu is going the whole "tablet layout" like a lot of other sites. So instead of three mouse click to get to the most recently added movies, it takes 9 clicks and over 16 mouse scrolls. Guess computer tech really is dumbing down society.*shrugs* Going back to watching the same movies ILLEGALLY with no problems.

Aside from some of the many annoying changes they've made that people have been complaining about of the last few years it is their most recent changes that have sunk Hulu --- Took the words right out of my mouth, I couldn't have said it better. I'm totally annoyed, frustrated and feel like some sort of lab rat being experimented on with all the weird changes, feel and speed of the site. I don't like it and wish they would have left things the way they were. It was a perfect site and yes, I even enjoyed the HuluPlus and figured I watched enough free stuff so why not support this awesome site that allows me to catch up on all my shows without owning a DVR. The changes they've implemented are not to my satisfaction and I will be cancelling my subscription.

Yeah, hulu sucks now. It's horrible. Hulu use to show good stuff now, even when searching for lame entertainment such as "Dawn of the Dead", crap like hockey pops up in the search. Hulu is yesterday. Pure garbage now.

During the free trial, they lessen commercials, then you start getting 90 second commercials again!!!!! What a cheap, lying company. Cant stand them and hope they go out of business. Was a paying customer but I can't stand their fake less commercial crap they say

I tried one month of Hulu Plus between November & december. I am upset to find commercials even with a paid account, limited episodes (only from the current season, at least of the shows I want to catch up on), and an extremely poor selection of movies. I'd rather wait a season for netflix to have my shows than give Hulu more money.

Great concept, poor application.

HULU BLOWS!!! They do not have any shows for just hulu aside from stupid old clips, everything they have is for hulu plus, which I am reading is crazy limited as well, as if they are not making enough on the commercials that keep getting longer and longer!!!

Hulu home page is annoying. I don't like how "In your face" the main banner is. I haven't used Hulu very much since last year.

The entire internet is pooping the bed right now. Even Youtube has 30 second commercials before each and every last video pasted in the last 2 years and even then you get pop up ads during the video as well as at the end of the video, then you have ads all over the page itself. I understand that ads generate revenue but it's worse then TV. Everyone from Hulu, Youtube, and Facebook and even sites like Topix are into this advertisement overload. I no longer post videos to Youtube and find myself using that site less and less. I haven't used Hulu since last year. I actually find myself sitting in front of my TV more and more and even started paying for cable TV again. Far less commercials to choke to death on. The commercial over load is a huge buzz kill. That and we just got Windows 8 and that is such a turd of an OS system to us I find the whole computer experience a big turn off.
