They said she was unarmed but she was driving a heavy vehicle, which is a weapon, as in vehicular manslaughter.

The family of Miriam Carey, who led police on a rampaging car chase from the White House to the Capitol before being shot dead by police on Thursday, says the 34-year-old dental assistant had problems, but posed no real threat to anybody. YEAH OK

If this dumb broad would've run over a family of tourists during her meltdown, the Monday morning QBs would be chastising the cops for not shooting her.

She's was likely used to being allowed to act out whenever she wanted.....but using your car as a weapon, can get you killed...especially in that restricted, heavily protected area.....

The COPs shot an unarmed woman with her baby in the car and Congress applauded the COPs heroic action, REALLY.
A better outcome would have been the large number of COPs take the woman down and arrest her.
Really?...Should the cop's just assume, her trunk isn't filled with explosives???...Roll the dice?

Ramming barricades at the Capitol, running down cops with a car, driving through red lights at busy, tourist filled intersections...Nah, I'm sure her intentions were friendly. She was probably just lost.

I havent been able to sleep and for some reason got to thinking about Sarah Silverman. I googled her and came across an article where she talks about having a life long problem with bed wedding. I think this is kind of hot... I'm not into this as a fetish and maybe its the lack of sleep making me giddy. I can see her in a short white nighty with thin white cotton panties, waking up after an accident that amounts to a playful little tinkle and in I walk to find her a little bashful/ embarrassed and from there I take her. Just a little weird and understated. I dont want it to look,or feel, like they up-ended a bucket of piss in the bed. I dont want my foul mouth hunny in a sea of piss. Just a little.

If she was too messed up in the head to function in society, she is better off dead and society is safer now because she could have hurt or killed a lot of people the way she was "driving".

It's too bad for the family, but if they knew she was messed up they should have cared enough to see to it she got the help she needed, or they should have kept her under supervision. The rest of the world is not responsible for your loved one or to allow her to put others in danger because you feel she has a legitimate excuse for going berserk in public.

The police did what they had to do to protect the public from a dangerous person that was completely out of control and putting everyone in the area, including her own small child, in serious danger.

i may be off topic but not nuts. Its just a very intresting little scenerio with a strong erotic lure. I dont see the harm and its something that i choose to share in a string that has been correct in all its comments to the topic. No harm done. as far as the larger issue at concern, that doesnt concern a hot lustful girl with a potentially sexy problem... It is regretable that her family didnt intervine if not for the driver than for the child. The police showed restraint and did what they could....but it was the perp that forced the ultimate conclusion. tough break but she sooo crazy..how else would it have ended. Thank god no police or civilians were hurt during this womans breakdown.

@ "787 falls short of expect"

You have it completely backwards: She was shot BEFORE the car crash; the car crash was DUE TO being shot. Pay attention to the news.

Post Partum Depression OR....What else can we find, to deflect responsibility from this girl and onto Capitol Police?
