If the fires really would have caused...

If the fires really would have caused the WTC twin towers to crumble...

There would have been no possible way that they would have crumbled all the way down to the bare foundation. Even if the fires were hot enough to melt the steel framing as if it were plastic. The falling floors would have met massive resistance from the floors below the plane impact areas. At the very worst;

the South Tower would have had it's top floors simply topple over sideways and fall completely off the building, and that section would have simply crashed down into the street below, leaving the floors below the impact zone intact.

And the North tower's upper floors would have collapsed a short distance, shedding the outer walls off that part of the building and maybe even sending some core debris cascading outwards, but the collapse would have stopped most likely anywhere between the 85th and 90th floors.

You clearly failed High School physics.

Don't feel bad - most Twoofers have as well.

Except that they did collapse that way. I was there and saw it, and you didn't.

Case closed.

But they collapsed all the way down to their bare foundations!

Something had to have been in place to cause the lower floors to go, and bring those entire towers, with practically no resistance from the lower floors, all the way down to the bare foundation! There just totally had to be something else that could have caused the collapse of both those towers, not to mention even WTC7, to continue uninterrupted like that all the way down to the foundation.

There's no way those fires and the impacts alone could have caused collapses of those buildings that would continue, uninterrupted, all the way down to the bare foundation.

The initial impacts weakened the supporting columns, which were arranged around the outside of the buildings. This was a unique design feature as explained by the architect and building engineers involved with the construction of the World Trade Center. The resulting fires caused by burning jet fuel consumed furnishings etc. on the affected floors, and the building sprinkler systems were destroyed by the impacts, so the fires burned uncontrolled. The impacts also compromised the insulation on the remaining steel support columns. The columns were further weakened by the extremely hot fires until the steel softened and was no longer able to support the floors, which pancaked down upon each other, collapsing the buildings. I saw the South Tower collapse in that manner with my own eyes, until I had to run for cover as the debris cloud approached. The same happened to the North Tower, and later that afternoon to 7 WTC as well, after it had been burning for several hours. This was all explained in detail in numerous scientific articles and documentaries about 9/11. If you want to believe something else, it's a free country, but you're wrong.

I prefer facts, reason, and Hanlon's Razor.

Your twoofer rubbish doesn't pass muster on any of the above.

So says the conspiracy theorist who takes pot shots while hiding behind his computer, and believes fantasy over reality as reported by eyewitnesses and experts with firsthand knowledge.

"Experts" I didn't know it was a pot shot by raising an eyebrow at questionable "knowledge from experts".

I WANT to believe that what they said is true. I want to believe that but too many unanswered questions have been raised.
