I'm surprised you are suprised he would act any differently. You know as soon as the Sox season starts tanking and the Yankees don't we won't see him anymore. "I got a life to live", "time with the family", "i'm not involved with that stuff others do in here"
Nah I wasn't expecting DW to act any differently....but after the Yanks won the AL East again last year and his sox finishing dead last some 26 GB....that if he were to come back on here again he'd learn 1st to keep his big stupid mouth shut considering he left from here like a momma rat in the most cowardly fashion type with his tail between his legs.....after all he left just before the sox officially hit rock bottom and was embarrassed about it cause all he did was brag, brag and brag some more about what a great farm system his sox had....yet no playoffs for his sox in 3 years.....all those wonderful prospects they had......that did absolutely nothing for the sox when called up and given the chance to make the sox any better as he was hoping....so the Aussie dope is just more stupid about things then I thought after all his crap knowledge that he far fetched about of his own team.....that's all......oh well

Ruh roh, bad news for the Sox. Lets hope he is OK. If he and Ortiz are out I wonder if they could win 60 games?

(01:50 pm ET) Boston center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury had to come out of Sunday's Grapefruit League game against Philadelphia in the top of the second inning due to what appeared to be a jammed right ankle, reports WEEI.com .
Ellsbury slid awkwardly into first base on a catcher's pickoff attempt and remained in the game. He even attempted a steal of second, but was gunned down in his first official attempt of the spring. When he came to bat his next time, Ellsbury was removed in favor of Bryce Brentz. He should be considered day to day.

The 29-year-old Ellsbury entered Sunday's game batting .250 for the Red Sox this spring with one RBI and four doubles.

This is the kind of Sunday I like. Got her out of here at the Galleria now. Nice and peaceful around here.

By the way, I like that. Operation Orlando is underway and I am hoping he makes a mistake. I will also find a way to youtube this and post it in here. He is so lucky that I really don't have the ability to shoot lightning from my fingertips

Well I suppose if there is an injury or even a question of an injury that cements rookie sensation Jackie Bradley Jrs spot on the opening day roster.

JBJr responded with 4 RBIs so far today including a HR

(02:25 pm ET) Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz, who still just hopes to get back on the field before Boston breaks spring training next Saturday, completed some agility and conditioning drills on the back fields on Sunday, reports ESPN. New Manager John Farrell who made wanted the chubby slugger in the back field area since its closer to the hot dog truck Ortiz like to use. Said Ortiz "Johnny been berry berry good to me knowing I like the hot dog truck. Being near the hot dog truck allows me to walk to it instead of having to take the golf cart from the clubhouse. Walking back to and from the hot dog truck now will help me get my stamina back which is berry berry good. We all like Johnny now."

Ortiz hit in the cage and manager John Farrell said the "penciled-in hot dog truck plan" is to have him stay in Fort Myers for extended spring training when the team breaks camp in order to get in better shape and eat more hot dogs.

Says who? You.....please when have you ever been right on the Yankees? Every year you say the same nonsense:

"Yankees stink"
"won't make the playoffs"
"1972"
"sox are loaded with prospects"
"Crawford will bat 3rd"
"2011 Sox are better then the 1927 Yankees"

and on and on and on.

I take no joy in saying they are a lousy team as I enjoy the rivalary a lot as I know you do. But the Sox stink and their fans are still shell shocked over the 2011 collapse of what the Sox Kool Aid drinkers were saying would be the greatest team of all time.

What they go 7 and 23 over their last 30 games in 2011?

I know you won't realize this being a Yankee fan but the minor leagues of other teams provide players for their big clubs.

Amazing eh? Wouldn't it be nice if the Yankees had a SS C 1B 3B OF or anything worthwhile at Scranton?
