Obamacare is working, albeit slowly, thanks to Republicunt obstructionism.
Budget is frozen; didn't you hear?
Jobs are up.
Deficit is down.
Who's in charge of that?

There is no debate.
What you think simply does not matter.

You will feel it in your wallet first.
As more dry spells turn into long-term drought, corn and wheat will wither. Prices will rise.
As more cold weather assaults those areas unaccustomed to it, citrus trees will freeze to death and more oil and gas and coal will be burned. Prices will rise.
As more thunderstorms, with their attendant flooding and tornadoes, hit more and more insurance companies, more and more often, they will feel the need to raise their premiums. Prices will rise. You will be paying more deductibles; you will probably want to raise them.
You can deny global warming all you want to; it doesn’t care. Climate change, caused by a warming atmosphere and oceans and massive amounts of ice melt, cannot feel anything. It happens. And we are the cause.
If you have heard that global warming is a hoax, or that the climate changed before man, I am not surprised. The powers that control our access to power have long waged a war of disinformation, doubt, and outright lies to maintain their positions and profits. For us to change may kill them. Our friends at BP and Exxon, at Duke Energy and Southern Company, are fighting for their lives.
The best thing you can do right now, my friend, is take your money while you still have it, and invest in a solar electrical system. A home-scale wind turbine or waterwheel would help, too. You may have to switch to natural gas. You definitely need to insulate and weatherstrip. You’re going to need all the money you can get just to pay your bills. And if you don’t have much money, well, you’re shafted again.
I’m no whiz-kid or climate scientist, but I can observe, and I can think. What I am giving you here is a humanitarian warning, out of my love for humankind, as bad as we can be, that you had better get ready. I’m no doomsday prophet either, but I am a realist. Hard times are coming. Be prepared.
Global warming isn’t a god. It doesn’t care whether you believe in it or not. It just is.

Earthquakes deep below West Antarctica reveal an active volcano hidden beneath the massive ice sheet, researchers said today (Nov. 17) in a study published in the journal Nature Geoscience.

The discovery finally confirms long-held suspicions of volcanic activity concealed by the vast West Antarctic Ice Sheet. Several volcanoes poke up along the Antarctic coast and its offshore islands, such as Mount Erebus, but this is the first time anyone has caught magma in action far from the coast.

Hmmm... could the volcanoes under west Antarctica be causing ice sheets to melt?

Naw.... that's a natural process.

Hmmm... why didn't they ask one of the scientists?

Oh, they did:
"People hear the word 'volcano' and get caught up in the idea that it will change the way the ice sheet works, but this stuff has been going on underneath the ice [for millions of years], and the ice sheet is in balance with it," Lough said. "Everyday magmatism isn't enough to cause major problems."

This is a new discovery... could there not be more volcanoes? More recent ones?

What? Don't know? Gee... still could be "nature" melting all that ice, couldn't it?

"There is certainly a need for more research, both in mapping the distribution and monitoring the activity level of subglacial volcanic activity beneath ice sheets, as well as studying the impact of subglacial volcanic activity on the hydrological system of glaciers and ice sheets,"

What's that? They don't know?

So how do you?

Well, the scientists who actually go there don't believe volcanoes are melting the ice. An troll on the internet sitting at home scratching his butt and making ignorant comments does.

Who to believe?

Who's paying the deniers?

"Billionaire oilman David Koch used to joke that Koch Industries was "the biggest company you've never heard of." Now the shroud of secrecy has thankfully been lifted, revealing the $67 million that he and his brother Charles have quietly funneled to climate-denial front groups that are working to delay policies and regulations aimed at stopping global warming, most of which are part of the State Policy Network."

There has never been unleashed capitalism. Our economy has worked because it is a mixed economy with the best application for the situation. Government oversight is always needed to prevent capitalism from destroying the society. The market is based upon the premise that humans are always logical. That of course is flawed as seen in the bubble burst of the housing market during the Bush Administration. Humans are emotional beings and greed drives the emotions of the market.

Bullshyt!

Those scientists admit volcanoes ARE melting ice; they don't know how much. And those same scientists admit they don't know how many volcanoes there are.

Don't answer a question with a question. It's a pathetic argument.

Who's paying the scientists?

Perhaps that's one the best kept secrets of the warmists. Ever try finding the answer instead of popping off with a puerile, "Oh yeah, but what about...?"

We need to hire better quality climate change global warming experts. This is hurting our movement!

=========
Top climate change expert defrauded EPA out of $900K by claiming he was an undercover CIA agent so he didn't have to show up for work for MONTHS
John C. Beale was a high-profile policy advisory at the Environmental Protection Agency
Reported directly to Administrator Gina McCarthy during most of the 13 years of fraud
Claimed he was on covert assignments for CIA but really set home reading books or doing chores while earning $206,000 a year
Assertions that he had undercover CIA job was never checked out by EPA
Publicly retired and threw party for himself, but collected paychecks for another 18 months
