Yegads! Are you touting that bogus WHO report?
"Those who cite the WHO rankings typically present them as an objective measure of the relative performance of national health care systems. They are not. The WHO rankings depend crucially on a number of underlying assumptions— some of them logically incoherent, some characterized by substantial uncertainty, and some rooted in ideological beliefs and values that not everyone shares."

You offer some of the lamest arguments of anyone on Topix.
Figured as much, WHO is another conspiracy for socialism. You can dispute the figures all you like, but countries with full healthcare treat chronic disease that reach a far greater proportion of the population than the US system. If Fox news begs to differ then I'd be weary of that as a fact source.

The only defense the RW antigovernment radical have is ad hominem. The only folks they will believe are RW think tanks. After all all the respected scientific agencies are all commies!
Out health system is abismal. Unfortunately, the Republicans did not allow any major changes in the status quo and what we ended with is the greatest insurance scam of the century.

Don't worry- Co2 concentration would have to be 50 times what it is today to cause health problems.
Basic Information about Concentrations of CO2 in Air
* 1,000,000 ppm of a gas = 100 % concentration of the gas, and 10,000 ppm of a gas in air = a 1% concentration.
* At 1% concentration of carbon dioxide CO2 (10,000 parts per million or ppm) and under continuous exposure at that level, such as in an auditorium filled with occupants and poor fresh air ventilation, some occupants are likely to feel drowsy.
* The concentration of carbon dioxide must be over about 2%(20,000 ppm) before most people are aware of its presence unless the odor of an associated material (auto exhaust or fermenting yeast, for instance) is present at lower concentrations.
* Above 2%, carbon dioxide may cause a feeling of heaviness in the chest and/or more frequent and deeper respirations.
* If exposure continues at that level for several hours, minimal "acidosis" (an acid condition of the blood) may occur but more frequently is absent.

Who was it that said CO2 is not necessary?
Did anyone who believes in CAGW make even the slightest effort to challenge that assertion?

You guys seem very confused.

'Zero CO2 is fine.
350 CO2 is fine
5000 CO2 is fine
20000 CO2 is fine.

Zero CO2 is bad.
350 CO2 is bad.
5000 CO2 is bad.
20000 CO2 is bad.'

You guys really don't have a clue... Do you?

That 5000ppm is a level that will cause health issues in humans:

A quite separate effect to the absorption of IR radiation in the atmosphere.

Yes, I've been talking sense on science since post #2 in this thread, thanks for pointing that out.

What you miss is the BIG point with healthcare and that was the current system is failing the vast bulk of the population. No matter how you try to spin it, the US ranks 33 in terms of health amongst wealthy countries. It has the highest costs by as much as a third of the next ranking country, the highest insurance premiums and the highest medicine costs. It's no good having the best doctors when they are only treating the rich, that won't cut it. If the food supply was under the same threat then of course you would expect the government to step in. The "markets" do not fix everything especially when there is collusion between competition. That can happen very easily with the food chain, one big supermarket buys the rest out (capitalism) and then charges what it likes. You have more to fear from the markets than you do from government, you have been sold a dummy religion.
If healthcare is so bad, why is everybody so upset Obamacare cancelled their health insurance?

The left will never be satisfied, they desire more power. They are anti-American because America was founded on the concept of small, accountable government. We've got the biggest government ever, with the most government spending and Obama is unaccountable in the press.

Governments can use force, put people in prison and take their property; the market can't do that. The market is all about freedom and the government is all about force.

The government is the SOURCE of all freedoms. Without the rule of law, and enforcement of those laws the advantaged would enslave the rest and YOU certainly would be up to your ass in shi(t). If not on a national scale, then internationally (i.e wars of conquest).

History is also a weak point with you isn't it. I though you were just clueless on logic, reason and facts.
The market is all about freedom.......
....the smell of napalm in the morning...... is victory.
.......the smell of paperwork canceling an insurance policy..... is freedom.

Napalm isn't about victory & freedom. The insurance industry isn't about insuring & freedom.

However, the person with the medical problem, now has a "pre-existing condition" & can't get coverage anymore. Hurrah...... he is free of insurance companies.
