Anarctic SEA ice is growing, Kristy, not LAND ice.<quoted text>
Of course temperatures will continue to rise until they don't for 17 years. These are predictions and no one can claim with certainty what will happen. Just as the climatologists can't make up their minds about the effects of a melting Arctic. Why is it irrelevant that the Antarctic ice is expanding? Would it be irrelevant if it were melting?
Not sure what "..can't make up their minds about the effects of a melting Arctic" is supposed to mean, either. NO climatologist thinks that a melting Arctic is good.
"..the contraction of the Arctic ice cap is accelerating global warming. Snow and ice usually form a protective, cooling layer over the Arctic. When that covering melts, the earth absorbs more sunlight and gets hotter. And the latest scientific data confirm the far-reaching effects of climbing global temperatures."
