They are shut down, everything is being sold off including the property in Astoria. Robert has gone into business for himself hauling cement. There may be a few guys working at Steinway St. for the next few months until everything is sold off and gone. Who knows what happened with Lenny? Know he is not in prison

So Robert took over the cement? what about the asphalt, the 15 or so food grade trailers, and all the tractors?

Yup hear that was coming with them being shut down. Prayin for the few oil guys still hanging in until the end. sounded like some were the last to know about what was going to be happening.
What a great deal with the 553 union, give them monthly dues an what do you get??? I forgot there a business to. Seems like the CSEA is the better union to be a member of.
Ran a 100+ miles on 495 today an did not see 1 mystic/anchor truck. Oh well comes around goes around.
Bill wants to know who's getting LIPA work. Alternative, crown, Cbc or island???
Good luck

don't think they had much AC work left, They were running food grade up until end of June, maybe Robert took that also, they still have 12 brand new food grade trailers sitting at dealer in NJ that they didn't take. The tractors are being sold off along with everything else.

LIPA oil work goes to who ever wins bid on oil supply
Then its their choice to give it to a trucker or do with their own trucks. I believe Alternative took some trailers and the inland oil terminal work that was left

Word on the street is Ferrara bought tractors and trailers from Anchor and hired some drivers. Also a company ESF bought trailers. Greco also bought a few. Didn't hear if Robert has anything to do with any of them. Seament and Arara very quiet. Didn't hear anything on them

Ferrara has 9 cement units running, some driven by guys that used to work at Mystic, don't believe Robert has anything to do with that, they are hauling their own cement. Seament has some new trucks running to handle the extra work they got when Anchor sent out letters they were closing. Not bought from Mystic, though
