Anyone upset with SupportKids, Inc??

I am trying to find anyone who is upset with the company based out of Texas called SupportKids, Inc. I have had a really hard time voiding my binding contract with them. They are doing nothing on my case and will not cancel my contract since it is a "binding contract". Georgia passed a law the beginning of the year where they do not deal with third party agencies. Support Kids is claiming they can still do their job even though Georgia no longer deals with third party agencies. Thought about talking to a lawyer who handles contract.

Supportkids is a scam, a ripoff and are a bunch of dishonest theives. Don't deal with them and don't sign anything they send you! If you do you'll quickly feel like you've made a deal with the devil and there's no way to get out of it because the dept that's supposed to regulate them doesn't do anything but review their contracts to make sure that they clearly state they will be ripping you off! Which, BTW, they don't! Stay away from Supportkids! Do a search and you'll find victims all over the internet complaining about them.

HEY!!! I am out of NJ and am very upset with Supportkids. They are not doing anything with my case either and I am very pissed off. My state/county does nothing so who am I to turn to now? I will not stop now. My kids are owed about $30,000 and support and this is ridiculous!!!

I have heard about Support Kids. The AG of the state of Virginia i believe is suing them. I believe there are other investigations on going. Perhaps you might want to contact the aattorney generals of all fifty states or yours and ask them if they allow outside vendors to collect monetary child support.

Count me in with the disgruntled. I've never dealt with such a dishonest and outright RUDE company in my life. They refuse to give me a "contracted amount" that is owed to them so I can get out of this slimy thing. I called the AG for my state and they told me to go hire a private attorney. Happy New Year to me.

I am Outraged by these legalized Gold Diggers keeping food off my children's table! They are rude unprofessional individuals. They dont do anything on my case I have done all the leg work myself in finding the job hopper NCP! There has to be a law against such thievery!

I recently got suckered into this too. I signed in October thinking whenever they received a payment from my son's father, they were goig to send me a portion of it. No, they insisted took that measly $71 and put it towards their $475 fee they charge and then after that is finally paid off, they are going to take 34% of whatever else he pays. I wish I would have never did this. It is rediculous. I called them and they told me the same thing. I can't cancel my membership unless I fall under certain guidelines. Which I do not. People, please read everything before you sign.

To H Dawn, I am so glad to see someone else mention the "specified amount", I too have demanded they provide that to me as my contract with them states that Supportkids, Inc. will figure the "specified amount" when the first payment is rocessed on my case, well that was many many months ago and they will not provide it to me. Although they were able to come up with an outlandish figure to put on a "notice of lien" they sent to the non custodial parent.

I could go on and on about this company, I urge all of you to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, you can do this right online and maybe they will finally get enough complaints to remove their rating and or rate them appropriately.

I have sent my state agency a revocation of the "Authorization of Release" form, this has removed Supportkids address from my case and payments are now coming back directly to me, of course they threaten I owe them, etc.. but what do I owe? What is the "specified amount"???

I also sent a letter to Supportkids addressing some of my concerns and complaints with regards to their failure to perform according to their promises/advertisements and contract. I informed them I was terminating the contract, I copied the Attorney General of Texas and Florida. Of course, since then Supportkids has noted my account that I do not meet the criteria to cancel my contract. I have received a few phone messages threatening me that they will remove the incomde deduction order from the employer and also that I still owe them, etc... The income deduction order was from the state, not Supportkids.

I will have to wait and see what transpires with my BBB complaint, not sure that it will help but at least it is logged so other people that may research this company will see. Right now the BBB is updating their report on this company so I am not able to view the report today, however at last count they had almost 150 complaints listed for them just on the BBB website. If anyone else has gone through that process, please post an update on what transpired, etc.

So I'm confused. Everyone is saying that Supportkids is stealing their money, but you are saying they are not working your case. If they wanted to steal your money wouldnt that mean that they would have to work your case?
I also noticed people are upset about their fees, but I remember when I called them they explained the fees. I never sign something I don't read. And I remember reading about the fees and how to get out of my contract. Did you guys read it? I felt it was pretty easy to understand. My cell phone contract was longer!
Anyway they collected for me for about two years and then my ex took off again. There was nothing for them to collect from and it had been the 12 months with no payments so I closed it out. I didnt want anyone wasting their time. How does that saying go about blood from a turnip?

I'm on the other end, I paid my Child Support! My son is now 26 and lived with me most of the time, back in 1994 I took my ex wife back to court to lower my child support which was granted since my son was living with me.The problem is supportkids does not check into the paper work,they said I owe over $38000.00 in back support, I've sent them court papers and checks,I also took care of my ex wifes other child, they don't want to see any of this, all they want is money! I have been being harassed by support kids for 6 yrs. I to have paid my support.my kids are 28 and 26.When you send them the proof they don't want to see it.We( my family including my minor children of my current wife of 16 yrs)have be threatened,harassed and terrorised.Attorneys are useless.Her last payment was Dec 2002. Rick, There has to be something we can do, maybe a class action lawsuit, They have put a lien on my home, I've been trying to have it removed, I need a letter from Supportkids which is not going to happen, since they say I owe. What a mess, oh when supportkids calls you, they will tell you they are on salary which is true but they get a commission on what they collect. Don't give in stand your ground! Once you give any money to them they have you.

YOU MUST BE ONE OF SUPPORTKIDS employees, right? You are about the only person who hasn't complained....odd, don't you think? And you make it sound like it's so easy and the rest of us have to be stupid???? The other 200 individuals and only you????? Hummmmmmm

Michael, I live here in Atlanta and I have asked my attorney about filing a class-action lawsuit and waiting on a response from him. It looks as though SUPPORTKIDS is taking monies from the fathers, children and mothers. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO GO BELLY UP and be stopped! They are thieves and there's plenty of people, I think, that would like to get in on a class-action suit against SUPPORTKIDS.

Susan, there is another thing I didn't mention I've been in contact with the BBB and Supportkids site is always being updated they have no information on them. It has been over five months and still being updated the BBB won't e-mail me back, At one time Spportkids was listed as a repo company. I'll be in contact with you.

I haven't told MY story yet, but it is very simular to everyone elses. What a royal pain in the b--- they have been. I hate Supportkids and would be happy to do my part in a law suit against them!

Yeah, I believe that the ONE person who didn't complain about Supportkids probably works for them, or someone in her family works for them. Im sure she must enjoy the annual imcome. Since it's ALL OF OUR $$!! What a royal pain in the butt Support kids have been. I would be glad to join in that law suit also.

I just found out that SupportKids went out of business a week in a half ago and my case has been turned over to Richard J. Boudreau & Associates (1-866-997-2449). I hear they are nothing but a glorified collection agency hiding behind what looks like an "attorney". They said I should be getting a packet in the mail within the new few days. I informed the the rep that I would review the packet and decide which way I will proceed since I am owed more than $75,000 in back support.
