Write-in votes may swell Franklin County's constable ranks

Potential new constables may not know they have the job yet. Voters in seven municipalities wrote in the names of people to serve as constables.

why not let the guy serve as constable (with dui). we have a magistrate that picks up ladies of the night so how could people be upset in this case. The election of this plum fellow will open a can of worms. How could he sentence people to a harsher term than what he was handed?

The majority of those guys won't work. The one guy said it himself, I'm disabled, well o.k., but I guess not to disabled to fight someone you may have to arrest or put in jail.
