Hey, anyone - we've lived in Ithaca for two months now and LOVE it. However, we haven't been able to find a few things at the local grocery stores (Tops nor Wegmans) and are starting to miss them!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
1) HOT horseradish - we've tried three different kinds from Wegmans and they all have no heat and taste mainly like vinegar. Anyone know where to get some good, hot, grated horseradish (beside John Thomas' Steakhouse!).
2) Red Chile - no, not beans-and-meat Chili - Red Chile - either powdered or in dry pods (like this: http://www.sansimonchile.com/Dried_Red_Chile.... )
3) Posole - either dried or frozen. This is like hominy, but processed differently.
Thanks, anyone who can help!
