I live next to a large open field surrounded my woodlands. I do NOT clean up after my dog. I know that upsets some people but I've yet to see how it might affect them. Occassionallly a walker..on a walking path..will holler at me to clean up after the dog. I politely ignore them and their comments. Again..I fail to see how it affects them.
The woodlands are full of squierrels, raccoons, chipmuncks, gophers, deer, fox, ect... and they all poop too without anybody picking up after them and were all just fine still. I love the fall mornings where not less than 1000 Canadian Geese are in the open field areas crapping nonstop...but for some reason my dog offends these people.
Oh well....put me in the .."I don't care" category.

This is my first year with White Snow in my yard. Our loving Jack has gone to his resting place. The snow may be bright and clean, and somewhat "pretty", I would be happy to have a dog in my life again, and I would be happy to pick up whatever my four legged friend leaves behind as a reminder of his existence.

Don't hold it against the dogs it is the people that are lazy and don't pick up the poop! We have two dogs and pick up after them. It is part of being a dog owner.
