I'm living near Amsterdam temporarily. I'm from Long Island. I used to work in Manhattan and the other boroughs everyday for years. But that was a long time ago. I haven't been to the city in awhile. Amsterdam is about 200 miles from New York. Sorry I can't help you there. email me again.
Thats ok,thanks anyway.I was never a city type person, grew up in a suburb at Philadelphia city limits.Crime there is so high, either traveling by car or public transit.not much in gay life there.A few clubs, bars, reataurants, book stores. It's called the "gayborhood".At that area,it's realativly safe,it's the parts of town inbetween there and my home.i hear N/Y.city has a much better night life, activities, restaurants that are all gay owned/operated.

I LOVED the World Trade Center. I worked there many times. A lot of people didn't like the Twin Towers but I thought they were BEAUTIFUL. I went on top a few times too.
One of my family members was killed there on September 11th. His human remains were never found.
It's a terrible shame and a real crime that nothing has been built there.
:(
I'm so sorry to hear that!Something should be built there.I hoped to return to the WTC,always thought it would be there when I return. My brother and his wife went there last November and saw the site.
