I wanted Cordia to win before but after seeing the threatening, racial posts and pictures today on both Facebook & twitter from many Knott fans, I hope they get destroyed.

KCC 66-----Cordia 60
Cordia vs KCC and Refs

It was just as I expected (and like every game we played against KCC)...Cordia had to play not only KCC, but the refs, also. When will KCC ever play a fair game and not depend on the refs to win it for them? I guess that's the way it goes when a big school is scared to death of a small school...win at any cost, even if it means greasing some palms.
Still SO proud of our boys, though! Great game, boys!

I watched the game tonight and you people say the refs was payed off your right it is plain to see that skinny little red kissing rods butt, so if anyone payed the refs it was rod but you people are made that the local, home grown boys won. I'm not racist at all and I believe everyone is equal but is it fair to bring boys from different states, countries to play, and who in their right minds sends their kid WITH OUT BEING PAYED TO PLAY to the worse school in the state to get an education just to o,at ball really. If they let the local Cordia kids play then that would be fair but paying kids parents, relocating them, buying the parents vehicles, giving them jobs just to try and put Cordia back on the map is wrong. It's against the rules for college to pay their players so grade school and high schools should be punished for paying their players. And for the parents, teachers and community to apply for care takers and leave these Cordia kids unattended in those dorms, really where is child welfare they should get these people for neglect, these kids are to young to be staying by themselves. I've talked to several people that their kids quit playing for Cordia because all they got to do is work thir butts off just to keep the benches warm. This is unfair to kids that has been going to Cordia their whole lives .

So I guess it's ok to bring in a kid from pike county but not from Toronto? What's the difference?

Neither of these teams are very good. Don't buy the hype, Justice will not be able to get off his shot in DI and the Cordia doesn't have a good jumper. They might have done well here but will they against the City teams, my guess is no. Perry Co. beat both of them. Neither of these teams have a tall strong big. Hall is tall but not strong a muscalur big could own him.

The second and best players from KCC came from JBS, their best player came from Pike Co. Cordia is not a team of locals anyways. But rest assured neither of these teams have the talent, skill or size to win a title. Neither of these teams are home grown talent because home grown talent is not that good folks.

The refs were bad, how that blond one even get's ref jobs is beyond me. Helen Keller could ref better than him.

I don't think Rhodes will stay in Cordia. Once he gets a better job he will be gone. Some college will offer him more $$$ than Cordia can and those recruits will vanish.

I predict they win a few games and get exposed for the flawed teams they both are folks. Cordia can't shoot that well and lacks size. KCC lacks athletes and has skinny bigs.

Yeah because Justice only scored 61 against a good team of the Cincinnati mountains. And all these D1 coaches from major conferences aren't as good as you at evaluating talent.

Have to give cordia some credit...well coached and really hustle...If they only had some outside shooting this team would be hard to beat...Ive seen all teams in the 14th region several times and no doubt perry central is the team to beat...If knott has to play perry they better hope they have the hot hand on there outside shooting or else they don't have a chance...anyway's good luck to all team's...

Im not as worried about the outcome of the game as I am about the poor sportsmanship shown from KCC. Bball is just a game and these are all kids we are talking about. Sending racist pictures or comments, chanting USA, belittling signs just to make a KID feel bad about themselves over a basketball game is pathetic. Some of KCCs students and parents obviously have their priorities in the wrong place. And those that who partook in the above activities should be absolutely ashamed of themselves!

I so agree. The kcc boys team parents, most of them act like their loop dossn't stink and that we owe their kids something. I give u these boys can play but so can any team. Its the respect to others these boys and their parents show off the court that makes the difference. These boys and their parents r ungreatful for what chances they have been giving. Prologue was in the State game last year and All A this year. You cant got out of these mountains and think oh I am great because I beat a few and lay back and given the ga.e away. Then have these preppy moms in the stands scream and shout and fuss because their kids gets called for a foul or the ball gets stolen from them. Parents need grow up. Its a game. These boys at Kcc do t deserve to go. They had the chance at All A to prove themselves worthy of a trip to state and they acted like they didn't care if they won. I was for Icc and have been to several of the games, but hope someone else makes it to state. Lets stand behind a team that both kids and parents show good sportsmanship. A team where the pare ts dress like adults and act like one

Come on people, reality-reality-reality. Knott County has been doing this shit for years, buying players, buying coaches and buying titles. This is karma at its best. So what--Cordia did what KCC has been doing for years, who CARES. Lets face facts, homegrown kids---SUCK. I went to the game and the only thing I come out bragging about was the friggin hotdog. Everyday I read this stuff posted and laugh my a-- off. Yeah the Justice kid switched, yeah Cordia got kids from god knows where, who CARES. Face facts neither team will come close to PCC, and then when PCC goes state, they choke as usual. The real loser in this situation will be the Board of Fornication--I mean Education. KK should have known better to get involved in this--and now she has cost the school system greatly, the tournament will be over and forgotten about and the lawsuits wont. KK has crippled the people of Knott County for years to come, hiring most of Letcher County, the issues with the bus garage, and now basketball. Good luck getting out of this one!!!!

If they were really chanting USA for the right reasons it would be one thing but anyone with a brain knows that it was in reference to the players from Cordia who came from elsewhere...oh I see the problem I was holding a patriot accountable for having a brain....my bad. Ok let's take this nice and slow patriot...get a dictionary...look up the word insinuate.

Wait I know that's too much I'll do it for you:

in·sin·u·ate
verb \in-ˈsin-yə- ˌwāt,-yü- ˌāt\
in·sin·u·at·edin·sin·u·at·ing

Definition of INSINUATE

transitive verb

1 a : to introduce (as an idea) gradually or in a subtle, indirect, or covert way <insinuate doubts into a trusting mind>

b : to impart or suggest in an artful or indirect way : imply <I resent what you're insinuating>

2

: to introduce (as oneself) by stealthy, smooth, or artful means
