If you planted cattails, they would clean the water and then you could harvest them, turn them into clean fuel and power local flex fuel vehicles

Once the stimulus funds run out, how much will this cost the taxpayers of NM to continue and maintain?

Stimulus money is for short term projects, and long term ones require on-going funding.

Thank goodness for that money. By the way, how much did each Senator contribute to the total? Someone said it was taxpayer money, but really there is none left. It must be borrowed money that taxpayers will have withheld from wages in the future. So we got some borrowed money we have to pay back. I had a guy tell me I could have his boat if I would make the payments. Same old water treatment. A boat is a hole in the water where our money goes.

Only a FOOL would fail to look beyond the immediate for potential problems down the road and not try to anticipate a solution. Or one who has a sense of entitlement who's motto is "Let tomorrow take care of itself.".

Only a fool would not consider the economic BENEFITS of reclaiming water in a water scarce City.

The only jobs that will be created are for low-skilled, minimum wage construction workers who work for construction companies whose owners make tons of money already and are politically connected with the Senators. Just another scam project to line crooks pockets.

Only 2.5 million?? Way to go Tom! What a guy. How much is the whole project going to cost? Don't forget to triple it when it's a government estimate.

Maybe if Udall had read the bill before he voted for it, he would have discovered some missing zeros on the 2.5mil.

It is well known that eating beans makes you fart. But does eating beans irrigated with wastewater make you fart even more?

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Capricorn

Today's New Moon urges you to get to grips with something that's been weighing on your conscience recently. Do something about it, dear Goats, preferably before Christmas Day. Think how much better you'll feel when you've finally faced up and taken some concrete action over it. You'll wonder why you waited so long before doing something about it.
