Omg, I hope HGTV really does A LOT of research on the TIDES the STORMS and the amount of damage the weather has done on Tangier Island over the YEARS! Be prepared to find the HIGHEST lot and build HIGH foundation! My grandmother had THREE feet of water in her home during hurricane Floyd..and much deeper in the next storm! The poor people of Tangier pay out of their noses for taxes now..I don't think a "local" could afford the "Dream House"!
