Wind developer: Delay vote on our plans

The article by the Free Press is misleading as usual. The vote in the UTG's was not an endorsement. Only 8% of the residents and landowners were present and they barely got a positive outcome with that. The town council took no position as they specifically stated that with so few actually voting they had no real sense of what the feeling on the wind towers were.

I wonder how the vote would turn out in Brighton if held today. It seems incredible that looking across the lake from the state park I would see a wind farm on Bluff Mountain. On the other hand, property taxes would disappear.

Property taxes will not disapear. Where did you get that from?
It will not save you any money in anyway. Can you imagine the cost it would be to off set a whole towns tax base. It would be cheaper to make electricity out of gold.
