The Rev. Fulgencio Gutierrez of St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Far Rockaway, Queens, is setting up a disaster-aid program to help immigrants who have nowhere else to turn.

no fault of theirs what their parents did bringing them here for a better life.

Bull shot!!! Think again!!! America has PLENTY of real children who, through no fault of their own. Try this on for size, foster children are dumped and often become homeless at 18, what about children who parents are incarcerated, what about children from single parents...and on and on. Illegal alien children at least have parents in the shadows!!! Who never learned English!!!

These "children" (age 30), were brought here by their parents, who stayed here and reaped the bennies of US.If we give in to the "kids", what's to keep the next batch from mexico coming here to bring their kids, get a free education with meals and health care, and now in state tuition! As an American citizen, I enlisted in the Navy in 1960. I've been paying income taxes ever since. A portion of my taxes goes to educate, hose and support those children of illegals.

Since you are so sympathetic and supportive of their cause perhaps you'd be willing to assume my portion of the tax dollars spent on them. After all, who is more deserving, the children of someone that sneaked into our country, or a twice enlisted veteran scraping by on a miserable pension?
