I agree francie!

Some of the people moving in and some of those living in IP are trash, that's why.

We need more lights on the streets, our own police force NOT just the 4th precinct, some proper upbringing for the kids, and we need to get rid of the teenagers that are taking over the community and causing trouble.

The Hispanic families moving in are also a problem: they do not control their children and I see a lot of gang-activity, dirty streets, and now, robbery and assault.

It's disgusting.

The trouble lies with the foreigners, illegal or not. The hispanic families are catered to in our school systems and in our towns. They feel entitled and privileged. Their attitudes in our communities are undesirable as well as their presence.

I agree, "somethings not right".

Look at the neighborhood's changing demographics and it's changing "safety".

The man that stabbed a woman in Oceanside was from IP, a hispanic/latino.

It's terrifying: even the women and children think they're in a version of West Side Story.

They litter, they sit on sidewalks, they get drunk and shoot people over soccer games, they assault people, and generally are a hindrance to ANY neighborhood.

the realtors are filling IP with sec 8. The village board says there is nothing they can do. The village looks like crap. Time for a new board? or become part of TOH.

New board is needed as far as I'm concerned: I will not be voting for the people on the existing Board.

And trust when I say, I will be at this month's meeting and I will have LOTS of questions - LOTS.

IP needs a board that is not tied with the repub. club. Their politics is killing IP. Maybe turn IP over to the Town of Hempstead.

They cannot fix street lights because it's light out when they are working (day time)and all the street lights are out.
Who was the person from IP busted with drugs?
