I do feel bad for the poor that were hit, but let's face it MOST get free food stamps, section 8, medicare etc. They will continue to receive these services (if not more) under President Obama.

i just wanted to inform you, in case you were not aware that the food stamp program was started by FDR; not Obama.

i do, however agree that the poor get help. they get food stamps and housing vouchers and heating vouchers. they get free turkeys at thanksgiving and free gifts for their kids at christmas. they get to lease brand new cars every year because leased cars are not owned and therefore do not count on your application for food stamps. the middle class is who is suffering. they work for their money and get little to no help from anyone. also, if you apply for food stamps and own a car (even a junk heap car) you are told that a car is not a necessary and you should sell it.(this is just ridiculous, in suffolk county, where we have no reliable public transportation)

the whole system needs reform. it was here long before Obama.

Yes but what clown has exacerbated the entitlement society into perpetuity, once given, increases in social services are never reduced. How many people are gaming the system, and the lauded reduction in medicare fraud, when is that ever going to happen!
