Agreed,
Nixon and his band of scoundrels certainly demonstrated how unfit they were at governing this great nation.
It was high time that those of a superior intellect took control in order to correct the mess those idiots created.
No easy task,of course, but, with the reelection of Obama,we can clearly see progress in the making.
Now we need to get those parasitic individuals who spend their time posting nonsense on the internet to do something constructive,
Like, GET A JOB,even if it's only pumping gas,A La Romney...
Destruction of the vultures is a high priority on the Obama Agenda.
Glad you are not part of that crowd.

Yes. After the termites gnawed away the foundations of the Nixon presidency - that good and decent man - everything changed. All successful revolutions retain the symbols inherited from the deposed regime. To say our current dilemma was the result of a masterful "transformation" falls short of fully describing what has befallen our once free and independent people.

Because you appear to be an individual who is interested in such matters, I am providing a link to J Edgar Hoover's masterful work "Masters of Deceit. The story of Communism in America and how to fight it".

Although that war was irredeemably lost, a reading of Hoover's book will provide insight into how we got to where we are at.

I agree,If judged by his actions, one can only conclude that Nixon was a good and decent man.

It takes a good man to resign, rather than face impeachment.
It takes a decent man to have his top aides and subordinates do jail time for his moral failures and criminal acts.

Only a good and decent man would have selected Spiro Agnew as his running mate....

But enough of that nonsense.

By the way, thanks for the information on Hoover,My wife had just asked me to vacuum the rugs and I needed to read the instructions as to how to operate the vacuum cleaner.

Found out you have to plug it in to get it to function properly.

Same can be said of J.Edgar,,,That may explain why he was dysfunctional

Yes. You seem to have a good grasp of history. Despite all the historical revisionism that has been put forth by his enemies - especially by partisan post revolution Governmental licensed media apparatchiks - no charges of any wrongdoing whatsoever were ever filed against that good and decent man, President Nixon.

Today, no man of his stature can be found. Rather than to put his nation through the anguish of impeachment proceedings as a result of specious charges that would likely have been made by lesser men and trumpeted by their running-dog media pals, President Nixon resigned from his presidency. Like yourself, I would deem it very unlikely that such a man could be found today - a man who loves his nation more than he loves his own personal career. Thank goodness for the peace of his soul. They don't have "Dick" Nixon to kick around anymore.

Your point about Spiro Agnew is also well taken. As Vice President Agnew once remarked about those who were to become today's voting majority - presumably including their idiot "love children":

"Yippies, Hippies, Yahoos, Black Panthers, lions and tigers alike -- I would swap the whole damn zoo for the kind of young Americans I saw in Vietnam."

Yes Indeed,It is a courageous man, whom, when his own recordings are a testament to his guilt, refuses to accept responsibility for his actions and resigns rather than face impeachment.

That no man of his stature can be found is probably due to the fact that his stature, based on his honesty and principles, would allow him to walk under a crawling snake without having to stoop.

Many people today, are more than glad not to have Nixon to kick around any more,,,,,That way, they don't have to clean the Sh!t off their shoes...

Agnew's famous last words,Nolocontendre, which the presiding judgge said was to be construed as an admission of guilt of bribery, receiving illegal payments while vice president of the US and a multitude of other illegal acts, along with the criminal and dishonest behaviour of Tricky Dicky are what one would expect from right wingers who campaigned for the Presidency under the slogan of LAW and ORDER... True Patriots whose love of country led them to violate the Laws they swore to uphold in order to enrich themselves and for personal power....

Good point. So let me see if I got this straight. President Nixon was never impeached - which is to say that he was never indicted - much less was he ever charged or tried for any crime or misdemeanor whatsoever. Even had he been, the trial of Big Clinton,(Democrat) has proven that any such Senate trial is a political matter, not a legal matter.

So are you saying that good President Nixon, never having been charged with any criminal act whatsoever was "guilty" of those supposed "crimes"? Is that some new post-revolution "legal" principle?

Incidentally, dear Doctor. The subject matter of this thread centers on the large muscular African who pushed an elderly slightly built Korean guy onto the dangerous New York subway tracks which resulted in his death. Are you aware that this happened during the administration of the nation's first authentic African president?(Democrat)

Undoubtedly, large amounts of hard earned taxpayer money will be expended by the political revolutionary ruling class to provide the accused African with high paid taxpayer funded Government lawyers so as not to inflame the African community. To be consistent with the rabid Nixon haters' legal principles, why should the African be forced to undergo the ordeal of an expensive taxpayer funded trial when he could be just taken out back and hanged, just as the haters would have done to Good President Nixon if only they had the chance?

I agreed with your opinion that Nixonn was a good and decent patriotic American.
When confronted with the evidence contained in his tapes, which proved that he had obstructed justice, lied, bribed and otherwise perverted the system he had sworn to defend and knowing that he would be impeached,he resigned.
His reasons for resigning were not based on selfish reasons.
He knew that the cost to the taxpayers for his defense would be astronomical, once impeached and found to be guilty as charged,he would go to a federal Penitentary for Beau coup many years,at tavpayers expense.
Not wanting to burden the taxpayers with those prohibitive costs, his logical alternative was to resign in disgrace, which he did.
But, you misjudge me,I would never have agreed to have Nixon hung.
I might have kicked him a few times, possibly vasectomized him in order to prevent any further contamination of America by any future descendants.....

Exactly. Contrary to what has now become common belief, history did not begin when the 60s 70s revolutionaries - the self-confessed "Nixon haters" - arrived upon the scene. In fact Nixon's demise is only the latest play of an ancient theme. According to the historical record:

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat." (Leviticus 16:2)

" And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering." (Leviticus 16:5)

"And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation." (Leviticus 16:7)

"And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat." (Leviticus 16:8)

"And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering." (Leviticus 16:9)

"But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness." (Leviticus 16:10)

"Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:" (Leviticus 16:15)

"And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness." (Leviticus 16:16)

"And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:" (Leviticus 16:20)

"And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:" (Leviticus 16:21)

"And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness." (Leviticus 16:22)

Yes. I agree. No one defends the arrogant contempt Korean and other small storekeeps sometimes express towards their customers. Let us be reminded, though, that even the Africans are fleeing Detroit City because no national Grocery chain dares rebuild their burned and looted businesses in that African run city.

On the other hand, the Africans are having a difficult time bludgeoning the Korean community over the head in order to instil a sense of guilt for past associations. I suppose this is an especial problem for African "community activists" because it was so easy for them to instil a sense of guilt among White people.

An indication of the nature of the hard working entrepreneurial Korean business community is demonstrated by the fact that during periodic "community actions" by African "activist" "youth" in the city of Los Angeles, Korean owned stores are often the only ones on the block not to be burned and looted during the periodic demonstrations of African "culture".

Personally, I agree with you when you say that it is foolhardy for lone unarmed slightly built elderly Koreans standing their ground against burly muscular well-fed out-of-control Africans who seemingly have no end of real and imaginary grievances. This behavior may be a judgement fault that would likely be spun by the Government licensed "news" media as "acting as the oppressor".

Drudge has linked to a report published by the New York Post wherein the muscular well-fed African "Subway shove monster" is claiming he "couldn't drown out the voices in his head", and even had he been able to do so, "he didn't mean to kill" the unarmed slightly built elderly Korean, and even after he "took out off (his) jacket and put down (his) coffee cup, all he saw was "a red cap" inside the unarmed elderly Korean's pocket so "he didn't know what he was going to do".

It would seem this is an easy case for the African's high paid taxpayer funded Government provided defense lawyer to win. Certainly, the least the hard working minority of Americans who pay taxes can expect is that any expensive taxpayer funded "trial" will result in nation's many "Subway shove monsters" having easier access to taxpayer provided Obamaphones. Hopefully, if they stay on their taxpayer provided medication, those Obamaphones will drown out "the many voices".
