Citizens of Edison:

Please attend Thursday night council meeting, 6PM where 9% raise in municipal taxes will be discussed. Just look at your August property taxes, multiply by 4 and see the raise in municipal part of taxes. This is in addition to school taxes.

I am not against beautification of township hall but when roads are broken and we don't have enough police officers to provide safety, do we need to spend $200,000. on furniture?

The Atlantic City trip could have been done by a couple of officers who would have reported back.

council meeting 6 tonight topic budget
Subject: If you are concerned about your property taxes rabbi rosenberg

If you are concerned about your property taxes and possible raise of 9% as well as money being spent on non essential matters by the township ($200,000. for furniture for police dept and additional funds for lobby furniture) attend the meeting. Roads are disaster, we do not have enough police officers and fireman but there is money for redecorating town hall. Our schools are overcrowded. Many of you will pay thousands more in taxes.

The township spent one million dollars for pavers. There were very few of us at the Thursday night special meeting Attend Wednesday nights council meeting and speak out.
