I also bought a 150 cc scooter from that company. First they said they would furnish me a helment which they did not. Then when the scooter arrived, it wouldn't start. I got little or no help. It was a disaster! I think they are a scam and are probably pretending to be a sales operation. In reality, they just take orders and this stuff about having a parts, servicing, customer service sections is just a bunch of crap.

Hello, I have just been reading about all the problems with SunnySports.com . Sorry. I dont mean to offend anyone, but buying cheap on the net is not always a good idea. Especially for dirtbikes or quads. You need something dependable, for the kids. So please, buy from an authorized dealer of a reputable brand. My suggestions are; Honda, polaris, suzuki, yamaha, kawasaki. Any other brand is going to be cheap, and you get exzactly what you pay for. I hope only to help anyone in the market for a new toy. So go to your local dealer and talk to them. Thats the best thing you can do for your kids.

Its not sunnysports fault entirely. These bikes are the cheapest bikes in the world for a reason. Buy a Honda, Kawasaki, yamaha, suzuki, or polaris. And you will get years of dependable fun. DO NOT BUY CHEAP CRAP!!!!

The problem with these bikes is not sold by sunnysports.com nor are they related in any way

All I bought were two cots from this company. The cots were horrible and noisy. I called to get a refund and ship it back, but the company would not help me at all. They said I'd have to contact the manufacturer directly myself! Thankfully, Coleman is an incredible company that helped me happily. But the manager that helped me at the 800 number from Sunny Sports was rude and useless. If you buy a product from this company,pray you don't have a problem because their customer service in exceptionally bad.

I bought a 150cc Touring scooter from them last month, I would have to say "I am very impressed with their products and service." Since they are located not too far from where i live, I decided to take a trip to their warehouse before I placed the order. Huge warehouse! There are at least 6 or 7 sales were working on the weekends... They have all the California legal bikes and scooters in their warehouse. I spent my sweet time to check on all the different models and finally decided on this Touring scooter. They put it together for me within 45 mins and I walked out with my temp registration paper work. I had almost 300 miles on my scooter now, it runs great. My next door neighbor is actually going to get one from them for Xmas as well. I am not trying to be on anyone's side.. but my experience with Scooterdepot is great!! No complains :)

i baught a scooter july 6th i still didn't recieve it yet they charged my credit card i paid the credit card and i asked my credit card to dispute the charges. every time i call the sunny sport people they keep sending me from one persone to another and keep asking me for my information over and over again. now i don't want ot because my wife have seen an accident of a guy with his moppad and i am not allowed to get the scooter any more. so now i am aking for my money back.

! got a 150cc scooter,The mirrors would not fit without gring 1/2'off the side because the brakefluid reservoir was in the way.Also the kickstarter wouldnot work.It has a strange clicking noise down by the motor.Front tire had two gashes,and the reflector was broken off.I call them,and they sent a tite and reflector.They told me to take the side cover off the kickstarter and see what was stuck.I'm 71 years old,and I'm not able to do that.Guess I'm stuck with this piece of crapp!Bye!,Bye!$15000.

I bought a red moped, and I received a yellow one, I call them to let them know so that they can send me the right color, they put me on the phone with a manager name: AMY BARNES, she told me that I should try to sell this to someone or ebay it and once i sell it to call her and order with her and she will make sure that I get the right color. Can you believe this B*thch got the nerve to tell me that. I've never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. This AMY BARNES SOUND LIKE SHE'S CHINESE- I guess that's how Chinese customer service is. Now if a manager tell me shit like this than I guess this company is run buy a dumb shit boss. What kind of boss hire a dumb shit girl like that to be the manager and to tell a customer things like that.

Wow...lesson learned. I bought from ScooterDeopt.US in July, the scooter's crank completely froze. I took it to a mechanic to help diagnose and the mechanic called me to come pick up my scooter because he was on the phone for over an hour trying to get through to someone for me. He said if it is this hard to get through to them just to speak with "Michael Z" in parts & tech support, then how hard is it going to be to get parts. Additionally, it is going to cost about $500 in labor cost just to get to the crank and replace it because the whole engine has to come out!

So...lesson learned. I will file a complaint with my credit card, I will send them a blistering email...but most likely just take the Velocity scooter apart piece by piece and sell it on ebay. And come out on the other end knowing this...I shouldn't be so impulsive in buying things without researching them first.

A company like this will go out of business eventually. It may not be a lawsuit, it won't be because of bad products or returns of those products (definitely not that!)...they'll eventually go under because of reputation. I have no problem with them selling Chinese scooters that are low quality...I would just like them to honor what they are stating online. Also...I think the thing that bugs me the most...is the 1-888 number...does that ever work?

To anyone thinking of buying a scooter online...don't do it. Go to your local dealership where they can offer a warranty or can service the bike. I got 3 1/2 months out of my scooter...I was happy with it until it broke.

I know this is long...but the funniest post was the one about Amy Barnes suggesting he sell his yellow scooter on ebay and when it sells...to call them back and they will send out the right color this time. I think that sums it up right there!

well i read on here about putting together a class action lawsuit? well i bought a 150 atv from this company o may 14th recieved the atv on may 21st. after i got off work on may 23rd rode it for the first time and while only going 5-7 mile an hour the atv rolled and snapped my upper tibia on my left leg. i have $40,000 in medical bills i cant play with my 4 kids like i used to like run play basketball and walk for long distances. i would love to find people interested in a lawsuit if so e-mail me at redhot_entertainment@yahoo.com

We purchased a scooter on October 1, 2008 and it arrived very quickly. However, it would never start. We finally had it towed and the mechanic said the stator (sp?) on a brand new bike was defective. Sunny Sports offered to send a new one out, but it was backordered several weeks. When it came in, the mechanic called me back to tell me the motor is shot. Again, this is a new moped/scooter and does not have a single mile on it. I now just want to return it and I'm being told by someone named ALAN that they 'might' can do it for 30 percent re-stocking fee plus all shipping charges. I consider this item to be dangerous. I am disputing with my credit card company and hoping to get back a full refund.

Buyers beware of this company. It's a horrible, horrible company.

I bought a lot of 10 of the 50cc scooters and had to work on each one. 1 had a broken Starter solinoid terminal, a replacement fixed that one.! didn't have the fuel line connected to the carburetor, easy fix. 1 was missing the license plate bracket. 1 was missing the kickstand. 1 had a running leak at the fuel tank petcock gasket and a stuck Bendix. 1 came missing the VIN # cover. All needed the idle speed and air bleed adjusted. Lucky I am professional mech. and repaired all with parts supplied. Nicely built but poorly assembled and 0 quality control.

Arizona: I don't know who you took this scooter to but 500.00 is a bit out of line. I can remove the engine package in 15 min. Get someone who knows how to use a screwdriver to remove the negative lead from the battery and then put it on the center stand and remove the rear wheel. Remove the intake manifold and disconnect the wiring to the engine. Remove the rear shock bolt at the bottom and then remove the forward bolt holding in the engine. Support the bike when you remove the forward bolt cause the center stand is attached to the engine. Send back the engine to sunny sports and they will send you the repaired engine or a replacement. These people are reasonable people.

I just purchased a SSR 110cc semi automatic pit bike for my kids. They are 14 and 12 and they love it. Its something that will last them awhile because it has the power and reliability I was looking for in an inexpensive bike.$1100 is more than enough to buy this bike. Good luck!!
