from just reading your comment.The belittling of others is done by people with negitive attitudes snd it does nothing to improve the relationship with any body.if the hands were to work as hard as the mouth for the good of the center.It would be one great place to go.Hands are used to help others.There are plenty out there that are in need of that.

Mary dont have the time to rock in a rocking chair.She is busy working for the center.And doing a great job at it.The ones that are sitting on their butts and doing nothing but complain and whine should stay on their butts and let the woman do her job.Mary is doing a lot with her life,is very constructive ,If there were more people just like her they wouldnt have the time to sit and belittle anyone. caution should be taken when you speak of a check that was taken.It could be proff that somebody did something illegal.But again no one is complaining. Just some more hate being spread around.the more it is spread the deeper it gets

I do not know why Vance was put off the board. I only know what i have observed at one illegal meeting called by Charles. He was voted off by Charles who then appointed himself president. Also by Ruth Ann, Norma, and bessie. They then made Ray Williams a board member. Vance was informed of the meeting Fifteen minutes before it was to start. Some members ask for open meeting, and the rest of the board ordered everyone out and called police to make them leave. Afterword these same board members refused to answer questions by the members. They stuck their nose's in the air, and walked out like it was none of our business. The way i see it Vance was voted off because he would not go along with intentions to deceive the people he was serving.

It is my understanding that the senior citizens building is for (SENIOR CITIZENS) I dont recall seeing any thing that says (ONLY)( MEADE COUNTY SENIORS)You have seniors citizen from counties all around meade county supporting it.So in all fairness why would any one suggest that it should only have meade countians on the board.Prejudice wouldn't you think .It could fall on its face if only meade countians supported it.People should get involved and find out what your rights are and fight the ones that are now trying to take the rights of the members and run the place as (THEY) want to run it.and that is not for the best interest of the seniors any where. How fortunate the meade county senior citizens are to have a place they can go to and be able to call it their own, because the members are the owners and dont have to answer to any government..Lets hope it stays that way,You seniors should pull together to keep (YOUR )place of intertainment runnig smoothly.This can be done by not allowing self serving board members to run your meetings bhind closed doors.I am a (VERY CONSERNED CITIZEN)and I am for you.

Answer to your questin about how charles c got on the board.He was voted on the board By the board members.To fill a position.It was believed at that time that he was a honest and a trustworty person.Since that time he has been proven to be just the opposit. two of the board members that trusted him so much have found out he can not be trusted at all.He and 3 other board members voted Burgess off the board and moved himself up to be president.Since that time he has appointed him self Vice president.It seems charles can in a flash permote him self or demote himself when he feels like it.He is must be some kind of a Jinni.

I can not believe that this place has come to this, so much hatred in your hearts and minds. I believe the best thing that could happen here is for the place to be shut down, doors locked. It is evident that noone appreciates what they have got. Everone seems to have a problem with someone else and is speaking evil of them. There are some that do appreciate haveing a place to go to for their intertainment and visit their friends.There are some that want the place for their own purpose .There are also those that are fighting to keep it for the purpose that it was intended and that is for the senior citizens to have a place to go for intertainment..I pray for those that want it for their own purpose.I have read topix also and I agree that it is a lot of blubber.There fore I have decided not to read any more from topix.

Lol!!! Anyone with a brain can see that one person keeps writing in anonymously....because that person, whomever they may be, keeps spelling entertainment incorrectly. It is not spelled intertainment....it is spelled entertainment!!! I'm not saying this to be your second grade teacher and correct your spelling, I'm simply trying to show that the same person is writing in a lot and saying the same thing over and over. If you are that person and read this, please contact your treasurer at the senior building, she can correct your spelling. She is a retired school teacher! Thats the rumor anyway. Take it for what it's worth.

But we all know who is writing the most of these comments. It's not the board members. It's the busy bodies beating the doors down during important meetings that are on here, or at least that's my views. The board members are too busy preparing for court to worry with this little gossip column.

These coments are not about spelling.Its is about people and their ccomments.And it is open to as many comments as people want to make wheather it be anonymouas or not.Spelled right or not you must have got the point.
