Michaels Stores to cut 95 jobs at Irving headquarters

Irving-based Michaels Stores will cut 95 headquarters jobs in the next 90 to 120 days.

Michaels Stores actually cut 295 jobs at Irving headquarters. The story being told the company is co-sourcing with Tata but in reality they are outcourcing.

The company Michaels is outsourcing to is TCS.
They laid off over 200 employees and plan to lay off more, but they offer a generous severance package, help employees with resumes and interviewing skills, as well as giving a 90 notice as well as rumors of it happening before 2009...
However, other companies are continuing to do the say and take away from American.

That is a HORRIBLE idea. Stop shopping at an American retailer and cause the 40,000+ associates that work for the company to lose their jobs. NICE THINKING. It is terrible for people to lose jobs but I would much rather work for a company that is always ensuring they are efficient and solid financially so that they do not end up like Circuit City.

I will never shop for this evil corp. The executives signed a contract to fire american employees. This is disgusting. These people should go live where they send the jobs.
