The rave today is about banning assault rifles and banning magazine round capacity of 11 or more. All in the name of keeping kids from being slaughtered... Well what about the 800,000 unborn humans that are slaughtered every year in this country.. Last time I read the US Constitution, I had a right to keep and bear arms.. I read no where that indicates a right to terminate a pregnancy caused by irresponsibility on both partners. I also seem to recall a commandment of thou shalt not kill. But putting the bible aside. I beg the question, what about the 55 plus million unborn babies snuffed out before ever seeing the light of day? You want to ban assault weapons, how about the tools of death used in abortions?

No matter how people try to justify or validate the behavior of having abortions whether its by throwing rape and incest cases to the forefront even though the number of cases involving rape and incest abortions are less than 1 percent of all cases/or whether its by attempting to through scientific terms define the development cycle to desensitize people to accepting the behavior, Abortions still snuff out lives.. Much like welfare if only the rape and incest victims took part in this activity then we would simply not be having this discussion today.

As far as I am really willing to even compromise on the issue is the prospect of abortions being an option ONLY to Rape Victims or Incest Victims AND ONLY if they are still pregnant after taking the Day after Pill. Other than that men and women alike should be prepared to take full responsibility for their actions. However in this compromise is also the program where victims of Rape who do not want to raise that child but do not want to kill it either have the ability to hand the child over to the state for immediate and expedited adoption to loving wanna be parents.

I think that every woman who has an abortion should have to get a partial hysterectomy at the same time. Every man convicted of rape or a sex crime should have to get a vasectomy. The women sex offenders should have to get a hysterectomy as well. Take their choice and ability to reproduce away.

Abortion snuffs out the life of an innocent child. It is a cruel and barbaric practice that a cold, selfish, and heartless generation allowed to become legal. There are a few miscreants that will always revel gleefully at the prospect of "playing god" with the lives of others... but most who support and participate in this inhumane treatment of children will eventually look back... too late... with regret.

so...your logic behind continuing to manufacture large magazine clips to be sold to anyone on the open market is that 'you' would never ever, use those large magazine clips to destroy human lives, unless under what 'YOU' deem to be extenuating circumstances of course, and that it is your 'Constitutional 'Right' to make that decision...however 'Abortions should be illegal, though 'I'(hopefully) would never ever use the service to destroy human lives,'except under what 'I' deem to be extenuating circumstances'(the exceptions) though it's a woman's 'Constitutional Right'.

OH...but then you would argue that the Constitutional Right to choose what a woman can do with her 'Individual Sovereignty' body (Roe V Wade) should be limited only to what 'you' as a man or a discerned party, deem to be an exception to the rule, hum....kind of the way I feel about those large magazine clips.

One is a 40 year old law, the other is a Constitutional Right that was reDEFINED in 'Heller'., except I could buy 30 round ammo clips (like what was used at the school during the Sandy Hook slaughter) & become part of the conversation, but how are you going to relate without a womb. I don't like Viagra either, might cause rape.. and then here we go in the vicious circle about 'which is the most offensive' abortion rights and bullet rights.

Roe v Wade is a 40 year old law...It allows a woman to choose to have a baby, while it is ONLY an embryo, cases up to 3 months while the 'fetus' is the size of a strawberry. http://www.google.com/url...

Abortion is a right, it has 70% approval in cases of 'the exceptions', republicans and democrats alike defend a 'Woman's Right To Choose', if she is raped, the mother's life is in imminent danger, and incest.
Women who are against this Rove V Wade are the fortunate ones, one out of 4 women WILL suffer a form of sexual abuse in her lifetime. That could be your 14 year old daughter. The 'morning after pill' is also included as a form of abortion. Not surprisingly some fanatics {Paul Ryan} have come up with what they would like to become a law called 'personhood', that law prohibits 'ANY KIND' of birth control.'Roy Blunt Amendment' or just leaving it up to your employer what kind of health care they would pay for, nothing about Viagra.

Funny how that pile of useless rhetorical sludge (aka "blibble blabble") up there never mentions the God-given inalienable right of a human child to be born. Oh yes, that's right... unborn babies are relegated to the status of "non-existence" for the purposes of those who wish to slay them. How conveniiiiiennnnt.

You all put far to much thought based on faith, if a woman want's an abortion it is her decision unless you want to start a charity and raise these kids then don't worry about it. The bible is not the constitution and jesus is not the president, sorry that's just how it is, you people that rant and rave and bitch about the second amendment wouldn't do a damn thing if there was a take over. I have an AR and I am not stupid I seen this thing coming so I bought a couple extra magazines, not clips, magazines and I have around 2000 rounds of 5.56 because I thought logically and could see this coming, so ban it, I don't care. If the magical govt fairy that you all are so scared of comes to my house it will be gone and hid, just the same as you all should do. Stop worrying about what other people do and prepare yourself, you are not going to save one single life by ranting on topix but maybe you all will learn to do for yourselves and stop worrying so much about other people.

You do realize that it only takes a single bullet to kill... limiting capacity wont save a single life. But then again i dont expect you to understand that since you support unborn genocide to the tune of 800,000 a year. I guess if they had social security numbers you would want to use your bleeding heart to save them

Are you still talking to me? Cannot stop can you, it has now become an addiction, I'm flattered you read all my post, but I have a rule about loud mouthed women. Now let's see...how many children have you gave birth to, or adopted, or have you opened a Foster Home, maybe EveN become a 'Den Mother'? Oh that's right....nada

It would better suit your smart remarks if you had ANYthing to draw from. Does 'it' just need some attention & to vent? So pitiful.

My post was not responding to you, unless you're either a 'man', or are a big 'Viagra' fan, so try to focus. I have no desire to play with you.

Abortion is legally-sanctioned murder, as is war and execution. Stop trying to candy-coat and elevate abortion to appear as some sort of humanitarian venture.

Why should it come to the point where other people would have to form a charity to care for unwanted babies? Why shouldn't the 2 people involved in the sex act be responsible enough to both use protection? If you seriously think that our men and women in Uniform are going to turn on their own people then I think you have another thing coming. Having said that there are simply too many americans with guns for them to to attempt a confiscation. However what is something I am concerned about is the fact that these bans and restrictions are hypocritically not applied to the law or to government. Im not worried about them taking my gun because they will have to kill me to get it. But it goes against pure US Constitutional values and the key to freedom and independence to not be allowed to choose an adequate defense.

Maybe the bigger question is how many lives have you approved to be snuffed out by supporting abortions? That's not a count I would want to have on my head.

We've already started a charity for other people's children. Welfare!
