They need better signage. I hate to see another vacant building on dead River Drive. CH needs to create a facebook page to market their business. I think that is one reason local businesses fail..they don't MARKET their business. In addition to poor customer service, they need to market their businesses through free social networking sites. Menus can be posted online.

Well Irvine going moist won't help the mexican restaurant now since they moved out of the city limits.. However I ate there yesterday evening and was pleased with the food and restaurant. I think they will do better not having to put up with the sewer smell of the old building which honestly needs to just be demolished and rebuilt as something new.
well maybe

a roach won't crawl across my table, but just give it time. Well I guess I won't be eating a LJS. If you think they r not gonna pack em(ROACHES)from the old KFC then u r in denial. That building(KFC) needs to be leveled and wath them scatter. ewwwwwwww

That place had roaches so bad they were climbing up the walls the first and only time I was there. Its really bad when they come out in the day time.I cant believe they are going to pack them all up and over to the food court...shivers.

We moved to the new place because of issues with the old building. It was run down, repair bills were racking up, etc. I do know for a fact that we cleaned the restaurant each day and had a lady on staff to come over night and do a "deep cleaning" each week. Also from the time we moved into the old restaurant, orkin came out every month to spray and sometimes twice a month or more. Maintainance and repair costs were flying through the roof, the owner wanted the customers to have a better restaraunt than you were getting, and so he saved his money to go into a newer better place for everyone.

Some updates to the new restaraunt: it has all new kitchen equipment. All of the equipment in the old restaurant is still in the old one because it was leased with the building. The tables and chairs did come from the old restaurant but they were broken down and chemically cleaned and then put back together in the new restaurant. The decorations were treated and cleaned and new curtains are being made and will be coming soon. If you do go into the new restaurant, you can even take a look in the kitchen, it really does look great. And I promise no roaches!

r they going to have their $5 special for lunch on certain days? Thats more realistic price. I can't afford dinner there.$30 dollars for tortillas and lettuce an second rate meat. Plus don't forget tip. If they cannot recognize that they were infested by roaches at the old KFC then I won't trust anything from then on. So don't try and act like it wasn't a problem and put blame elsewhere! We're not stupid, and people believe with their own eyes.

Wonder if they all have a green card? You know here legally? I have no problem with immagrants its just I have a problem with illegal immagrants(of any race)At least the immagrants/Mexicans learned English here unlike Florida where you have to speak spanish in southern Florida to order at a McDonalds. Last time I checked Americans speak English and not Spanish. The least you can do is learn the language of the Country you plan to prosper in. Why should we convert to their language? I didn't move to Mexico! LMHO

I'm glad we have a Mexican restaurant in Irvine. I only ate a few times in the old KFC place (and never saw any roaches) but did pick up meals there for take out fairly often. My meals were always great tasting and the food was very well presented and plenty of it. Their food is every bit as good as anything you will get at a Mexican restaurant in Richmond or Lexington. I'm glad they made a move if that is what they needed in order to stay in business and serve the public. The old KFC building needs to be torn down, as well as some of the run down houses near that place because I wouldn't doubt that is where the roaches came from.

I think "to expensive" is Racist! Tony is a great person and has a great place. If his prices are to high for your wallet then I guess so is Mc-D cuz his prices are comparable. I just think you have a problem with people that are different then you and you should be ashamed of yourself for making up lies.

I can see spending $30 at McDonalds to eat. An average lunch meal at the Mexican restaurant is around 5 - 6 dollars. Get the Big Mac special and that's about the same price. At night the mexican meals run 8 to 10 dollars, and McD's still stay basically the same and will be fast food, but you don't get a full plate at McD's, or chips and salsa. I like our Mexicn restaurant. Tony and his staff have always been pleasant, helpful and I'm glad they are here. The same goes for our local Chinese restaurant. I'm glad to have that option sometimes instead of driving out of town for Chinese food.
