I heard someone was putting a new pain clinic in the wellness center? Where is that and who is doing this?

Where did you hear this at? Maybe the person that told you about it, may be able to tell you where the Wellness center place is at.

I heard that there is a new pain/bariatric clinic coming to town and a mother/daughter team are going to work there the mother is the nurse and just got her RN back and the daughter is going to run the front desk!
Location will be at the corner of River Dr and Madison Ave!

The only people who don't know where it is, is out of towners, so that kind of tells you why they are so very interested in knowing where it's located. The only good thing is they promised the city the patient would have to be refered and have insurance. It probably won't stay open long before they drag the doctor out because he ODed like the one in Richmond.

But on my opinion, what about the ones who really need the meds. are we the bad people? I think not? Its all the needle junkies that give the pain clinics a bad name. Taking the meds for all the right reasons is not wrong... Just saying!!!

I think anyone on here for the most that will defend a place like this is a user! Whether they see it or not! The war on drugs will never be won because of these legal dope dealers! They sure as hell could of opened a better business then that! Something for kids would of been nice. Not something else that can be a contributor to their OD! Just my thought.
We dont need one

We don't need a pain clinic on River Drive and Madison. When they are giving away help for utility bills on one corner, and giving away pills on the other a person won't be able to get thru River drive at that intersection. They'll have to hire someone to direct parking like at Rupp arena. Why don't they just rent the old SaveALot building where there's plenty of parking, and the people picking up their pills can open their trunks in the parking lot and have a fleamarket to sell their stuff. Most of the pain clinics are bogus anyway, open up for a few weeks, druggies mostly pay cash for what they get, and then sell most of their stash on the street, and after the "doctor" makes about a million dollars they close up and move out before an investigation can get them. It might be good for the economy, but the thievery will be awful. I hope the city does NOT give these people a license to open a clinic there.

As the owner of the Wellness Center, I would like to clear some things up. We are not just a pain clinic, we are a wellness center. We offer weight loss programs as well as pain treatmen. We are not a pill mill! We will only treat people who are over weight or have an injuy that requires pain treatment! We will be within the law of KY! nothing more or nothing less! Our Center wants to offer fair treatment to people with illness or injuy without having to travel out side of KY for treatment! Our Center is requiring our people to bring 2 can food goods to every vist, wich we are going to give to the local food bank!! Our Center is requiring our people to bring one NEW toy starting in October to December, wich we are going to give to the local Fire Dept's to be given out for Christmas!! Our Center is going to give FREE flu Shots to the older poeple of Estill County during the flu season!! Our Center is going to offer one sat a month for the older folks of Estill County that cant afford to see a doctor, to come and see our doctor FREE OF CHARGE!!! Now ask your self if we are like any other clinic that you know of?? I would have to say NO!! Least but not last the Fire Chief is not the owner of the Center but his brother is!! the owner's name is Jerry Burnham!! Any questions please contact him! Thank you!!

Yeah I have a question. Where is your privilege license. No business can operate in the city limits without one.

do you honestly think that they will have money for toys??? the ones after the drugs are selling everything they own to get the pills!!! and for the food bank, maybe you should ask for a case of pop instead of can food!!! "just saying!!"
