birthing in a tub of filthy water is not the best thing for a baby. Parents think it is all 'natural', but studies show that the water is actually filled with fecal germs. Do you want your newborn to inhale a bunch of **** before it takes it's first breath? There is nothing "natural" about being born into water. The birthing process is designed so that after having the amnionic fluid squeezed out of the lungs while traversing the birth canal, the baby then takes a deep breath of air and fills the lungs.
Congratulations

I did not read the article. Great assumption!!! BTW, I have a life, but will also note that there are one million other stories that are more important and pertinent to our lives. PS: Nice grammar and caps usage techniques. Go back to school.

If this natural birthing is so good for the baby, I'm surprised the nearest office is in Irvine. From Westchester to Irvine? Heck, why not plan it in New York. Both locations are equally stupid for a couple living is Westchester. Another thing, it's lucky that nobody got hurt. The baby survived and the father didn't have 70mph traffic that could have resulted in a freeway disaster while he's trying to drive and deliver his son. This selfish couple that doesn't trust the local hospitals rather risk lives by driving 60 miles on a freeway to perform some "pet rock" type birth is being very selfish and puts others at risk. If you live in Westchester, have the baby in Westchester. If you want to have the baby in Irvine, move to Irvine.

Well I love this story, any birth is amazing and I think they should all be announced. It is a blessing that everybody stayed safe.
Good job to the parents for keeping their cool.
Off subject, I doubt they are on WIC, details in the story lead me to believe they can cover the cost of formula on their own....their car, his job...and hiring a midwife AND a photographer are all more expensive then using your insurance for a doctor to do it.
So what if they are on WIC, that baby could change the world. You don't have to have money to make a diffrence.
It seems like it doesn't matter how nice the story is, there is always somebody on here being negative about it. Lame.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
