Case called on State's Motion to Turnover evidence from DCFS. Defense has no objection. Jacob Smith from AAG's office for DCFS appears. Court will look Court finds that the records should be disclosed to the Court pursuant to Statute, because they may be necessary to determine the issue before the Court, namely the defendant's eligibility for the death penalty. The Court will review those records incamera to see if anything has relevance to that issue. Mr Smith turns over DCFS records to the Court. Continued to 8/7/09 at 1:30 p.m for review of discovery information tendered today, and consideration of Mr. Boyer's motion for acceleration of the death penalty deadline.
