I've been a customer of ATT for more than 25 years now. They were the best phone company ever. Now, in pursuit of the almighty dollar, I suppose, changes have been made by them and they have treated me unfairly for poor service.

They owe me 88.00 for a service I did not ask for. They will not give you their names if you want to file a complaint, just an ID number. The corporate office, if it was a real address, never responded to my request for a refund to be reflected on my bill. When I called about this, they blamed me for their mistake then gave me an addy to write but would only tell me I am writing someone named "Victoria". No reply.

Had I not switched to U-verse, my account was going to be cancelled. Now I have two bills.

Service has been undependable on a regular basis.

A service technician just walked into my house without knocking after seeing my 7 year old but not me. He said he was searching for a line (not asking how it is routed) to explain why my furniture was rearranged and why he wanted into my closets. Both ATT and the outsourced service tech super laughed it off .... They wouldn't give me his name for a police report.... Like how bout I come to your house unannounced and started doing that stuff? They say he is a nice guy but neighbors said that about a few serial killers.

Now, today..... I have a HUGE project to finish up before the a.m... Almost there. BAM no internet, can't have it until maybe Friday.... Long after my presentation is due.

They wanted to switch me to a manager... who dropped the investigation into service guy once service was restored (by someone else) as if it would do any good. Once I told them I was posting on Facebook and Topix... they really wanted me to talk to them.

I am so sick of big corporations. My $88 will be deducted from my final bill if I have to do it myself. Then we'll find out what the judge has to say.

Oh and a bit of ghetto-rigging, fixed me right up. Back on line to search for another company for internet.

That company has not been very good here lately. That service is undependable. Try a new ISP...
