Rock Hill had Donnie Davidson not Brett Davidson and it was Brett Bond who played at SC. They were both great athletes but neither compared to that Grant kid in the early 90's. I watched several Rock Hill games during that time. Nobody mentioned in this forum except for Jackson from Ironton was near as good.

Dude, I played with Grant, and he was a good player. But he wasn't great. He was a better baseball player than anything. He got too big his senior year and wasn't as fast. No disrespect to him at all, but I'll take Christian over D.G. any day.

KC Christian was a real good ball player - best from Rock Hill that I ever watched in person (I'm pretty young).
From Ironton, Wilks was just electric. Watch the replays of last year's game against NY and you'll see that around here, there are very few to compare.
From CG, I have to say that the best player I've seen in terms of value to the team and stats would be Justin Hyland. CGs all-time rushing leader.

I know I am going to butcher his name, but Delanual(sp?) Conwell whi played for Ironton in the late 80's was the best running back I've ever seen around here. He got a full ride to UK and was doing awesome until his career was ended by a neck injury. Imagine a guy who had Jermon Jackson's speed with the size of Mark White back in hs.

I played grant he was good but not as good as brain Kidd. That guy hit me so hard I almost sh!t my self.grant Jr.year rock hill had the best defense we played that year.they hit and tackled as good as ironton.take j Jackson out I thank rock hill could have won. Make Reggie Arden the coach for RH they would have a good chance. I hate RH but that team was good 94.
