Ironton 8th grade is in need of at least 2 games.
They are not that big but are competitive. An Ironton-Grove series would make both teams better.

If you want to play a loaded team go play Racelands 8th grade I'm not sure if they have a open date or not but they are amazing , I've been watching them every since thet beat Ironton very easily last year . I know they have played two games so far this year and its been a combined 70 -0 .

Junior High players, coaches, and parents BEWARE!
Success at the lower levels is not a guarantee of
good records and playoffs in high school. Last year's seniors at Rock Hill were a very good Junior High team. Junior High stars may fade out in a few years when growth and maturity of teammates evens out. The bench sitter in 7th and 8th may be the star in Senior year. High school teams that consistently make playoffs and have winning records put Junior High success in the proper perspective. Additionally, the team with several "hold backs"may give a false picture of team success. Junior High players, play to learn and love the game and what it takes to win.

I would agree with the last post all but using rock hill as a example ... Rock hills problem is not because of 8 th graders maturing early its a program and coaching problen at the high school , until the current coaches are gone they will never be good , I watched them this year and they are just as bad as every other year

Add The fact that the entire backfield from the Jr. High transferred out or did not play. It's hard to win with no playmakers.
