I am so sorry for what happened to those poor, helpless animals. My heart goes out to the family,my dogs r like my kids to me,i know there animals but when u have them for so long they become part of the family.I don't think 180 days in the county jail is long enough, they really need to change the laws. They sould get more time and they need to be made to stand on the street corner holding signs "DOG KILLER".I killed a poor helpless dog that was chained up in there own yard, and let everyone stop and tell them what they think of them.both men (not boys) need mental help, being drunk is NOT a reason for such evil, hatred.I am sorry once again for ur loss.

do they really think that being drunk is an excuse for this?? Welfare trash is what they both are and deserve to suffer for what they did

The paper said they both lived in the vicinity of the couple who's dogs they killed. They both claimed to be drunk, so they walked to the owners property intoxicated. So my question is shouldn't they both also be charged with public intox???

Throw every charge possible at them

I think a 3rd person should also be found guilty. The person that sold them the alcohol to allow them to get drunk. How come that is not mentioned one time? These 2 men should rot in their cells and I would also bet that they will. Not with this charge but this is just the beginning. I also heard these boys were already on probation. If that is true will there be more harsh punishment? 6 months just isn't enough.

What if you worked at say speedway and two idiots came in bought beer went and got drunk killed two dogs, murdered two people what ever the case may be and they charged you for selling them alcohol? That'd be punishing you for doing your job. That's really stupid to say something like that anyway. I agree they did wrong and should be punished, but there isn't anyone to blame besides those responsible.

I beleieve an eye for an eye take them to the courthouse lawn and give them a good old stoning as punishment let. Them feel the pain over and over the way they deserve.

I hope justice is served. With all that goes on here and I mean animal cruelty in the Pedro and Decatur area this isn't enough. And I know that a lot goes unreported but I've read in the fire/police records section of our local newspaper where someone reported calfs being slaughter not by the elderly owner but by a couple of cowardly punks. Too keep this interesting to themselves they shoot it as many times as possible trying to keep it alive until they get bored enough to finish it or just decide to just walk away leaving it in this state. I just want to why this doesn't get any attention at all?

If you were doing your job you wouldn't sell alcohol to someone 20 years old. My point is someone distributed to a minor. But yet nothing about that is being said. Or is no one taking it in that they were under 21? So now who is stupid? I'd like to see them be old enough for social security before they get out. But not old enough to buy alcohol going in. At least they may be able to purchase it legally when they get out.

They are under age to buy alcohol so yes the one who supplied the beer or what ever should be included in this. The charge of giving them alcohol is illegal. If they do not serve time for the killing of these dogs what is next. For those people who are standing up for them I can just betcha they wouldn't if it had been their dogs or if next time it is one of their loved ones. They are scum. Prison is the only way to teach them a lesson and that may not work. The reason most act this way is because they know they will get by with it. I say set an example with these boys. I they were raised on welfare then the parents should loose all benefits and pay back what they have gotten because obviously they didn't do their job raising them.
