You are right. I seen one skinny boy cutting through my yard headig up towards the laundry mat. Young boy about 17-18. I didn't see where he was going but I seen him up there. Then theres that one driving a white car like an old monte carlo. A man and a hot looking blond.... and they visit a house a few down from me on the right. The one on the corner that is for sale.

White bonneville making rounds avoiding 5th. Taking Etna and mill between 6th and 4th. Walking traffic is back. Older lady, young girl. Plenty of suspicious activity from mill and 4th to the laundry and those apartments maybe... can't tell that one for sure... view is blocked from my spying window. There is more traffic in the allys behind the missions to those boys in the back apt in the ally of fourth and etna also between fifth and hecla. Watch foot traffic. Xanax, suboxone, other script drugs, alcohol, marijuana trafficking.

Dear druggies: I dont' care what you do, don't do it around my children or my good neighbors. Clean it up or I'll start posting your tag numbers and names for the cops to look up. They are just watching now.

There was some kid circling around 5th/6th and Scott/Kemp last week in a black Grand Am with dark windows with Greenup county tags. Drugs are everywhere.

A video recorder works wonders in collection of who, where & when. Become a video vigilante. It does make sence to make a record just in case you need it.

but it is illegal to record a person or persons if they dont know other than a secruity cam on private property. or of coarse buisnesses. Instead of posting shit call an turn them in but the video tapes cant be used just because u feel like recording ur neighbors. However a lawsuit could be put on u for invading ones privacy!! U might wanna rethink ur tacts ur using an find new ones prehaps a phone call to the local police if need be would be my suggestion. After they get compliants thats when they investigate an do bustes. Just sayin;)

If you happen to be recording say the clouds or birds or anything not related to the accused, then you swing the camera toward your intended target there is nothing that can be done to you in the court of law. Don't step foot on their property though.!

Dear Ironton law enforcement officials. I would like to report some suspected sexual predators. I have seen some people who appear to be stalking young people in the area of Hecla around 5th St. You can see them looking out their windows and through their blinds at all hours of the day watching the young people. They seem to be up to some sort of nefarious plot. I'm not certain but I think they plan to kidnap some young blonde girl and tie her up in their basement to do unmentionable things to her. Please take note of this and investigate. You may want to search their computer hard drives.

I agree this town has it's problems but this thread is on edge of being a libel suit. You should watch what you say without proof. You should also perhaps mind your own business. Never make a mistake about it. I'm certain the IPD knows nearly every single house in this town that has drug dealers and users. What they choose to do about it and why is what boggles the mind. They've arrested to many rats and snitches over the years not to know. Perhaps it budget issues, perhaps it's overcrowding or perhaps it's just good ol' boy politics of a small town keeping some people who know some other people out. It's all conjecture at this point. Probably it's a combination of these and other factors. You want to clean this town up then it's time to get your elected officials to start busting down the doctors who write these things in numbers that are clearly not called for. Maybe start holding the pharmaceutical companies accountable in some fashion. Or, heaven forbid, legalize marijuana.

Dear Ironton law enforcement officials, I also would like to report some things. Hecla and mill streets need to be patrolled more. The nasty pill junkies are trying to take over the neighborhood! Child molesters walk freely. Children are neglected and forced to live in these conditions. Maybe the mayor should have to spend some time in one of the residences. He would run after the roaches chase after him!! haha

Isn't your own private property or street fair game? I thought you could record your own property or public property as in a street, park, ect?

the right to privacy does not extend to public places because you are in public not private. Anyway, I don't see peaceful take over in the neighborhood as reason for libel or slander unless the info is posted on Topix instead of the police.

Giving warning to these suspects is actually rather generous. Those "young" people we read about a few posts ago sound like they are testing the waters, sitting on the fence. Maybe is not too late for them. If they aren't doing anything wrong then they don't have anything to worry about.

I understand the frustration of the original poster and even though the cops may know where all the drug houses are, they don't have time nor manpower to put these places under surveillence.(how do you spell that?)

Drugs have ruined our community. Since the pill mills have been closed, meth is making a comeback.
