best diet I was on was called the three hour diet. U eat whatever u want seriously whatever u want. 300 calories every 3 hours. I usually ate about 5 times a day so that's 1500 calories. I walked everyday. It's so easy!!! At first I felt real hungry but after the first week it was a breeze. Eating every three hours made me feel like I was eating all day long. I lost about 25 pounds in almost 6 weeks

You can calculate how many calories you burn by walking if you look online. For 1 mile you only burn about 70 calories unless you walk quicker then 15 mins then you burn more. It says if your intake of calories is 1000 a day and you walk 1 mile a day you would lose an average of 1 pound a week. it sure doesn't go off as quick as it comes on. I have been dieting for 3 months and have lost nearly 30 pounds. I also have 1 day a week that I have a cheat day. Also if you are use to junk food or sugar gradually cut yourself back. It could cause your sugar to drop suddenly and that can be dangerous. Mine dropped to 43 and I was going to stop dieting but was told to eat some sugar just gradually stop and that worked out good for me. No soda, lunch cakes, and fast food is some of the top things that worked for me. At work it was quicker and easier to eat out. But it has tons of calories too. And if you lose quick you will start feeling more hungry so snack on a lot of fruits and vegs. Your body will think you have been sick is why you have lost the weight so it makes your mind want you to eat. Sounds crazy I know but it's true for me. Hope this helped some. Good luck and hang in there.

And you are suppose to drink lots of water. Half of your body weight a day. It helps flush all the "bad" stuff out of your body.

If you don't eat at all, your body goes into starvation mode. I was starving myself to lose weight and I was getting nowhere. I started to eat more (1200 calories a day) and I've dropped 85 pounds. You also need to keep up the exercise! Congratulations for deciding to make the change and hang in there!

Methamphetamine!

Works like a charm!

You'll never want to eat, eventually you'll have no money to buy food with, anyway. Since you'll have no money, you'll have no place to stay... think of the calories you'll burn trying to stay warm in the wintertime.

Yes, meth. It melts the pounds, your teeth, your brain, and your life away.

burn more calories than you consume then your body won't store it. BUT..starvation is not good..your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto what it has for a bit. Keep up the exercise!!

No pasta, bread, rice, or potato and eat a protein bar or shake for breakfast and lunch then eat dinner but none of the above and the weight will fall off!!!!!

Gosh I really hope so!
I'm only about 20 lbs over weight but I guess from mentally being put down for so long I just feel ugly about myself.
I do smoke and am trying to quit that also.
Any tips on that?

You may want to try some Wellbutrin. It will help you to avoid weight gain after or while you are quitting smoking.

You need to eat enough to keep your strength up, and avoid junk foods. Chantix (a pill) can be a help to quit smoking as far as drugs go, but mostly it relies on good old fashioned determination. After about six months you should hardly ever think about it. Cinnamon toothpicks or chewing gum can help take you mind off desiring a cigarette.

And not trying to be nasty here, but good old fashioned sex is a great way to melt fat off. Attack your better half with a vengeance, almost until they beg for mercy (probably only halfheartedly). If you don't have a better half or a "special friend" I'm sure there are plenty of perverts in Topix Both male or female, depending on your sex, that would be willing to participate in your exercise plan if you should so choose to follow my advice. For what it's worth.

Just always seemed more a fun exercise to me, than jogging. Good luck with whatever you decide upon :).
