It's probably because mysteriously for the past 2 months the RPD haven't beat up and black people or arrested any of them for waiting for a bus.
It must be hard for the RPD to behave themselves being as racist as they are.

Up from the ranks means more of the same. No new ideas. Same ol' same ol'. "Well, I showed you" speech, home grown boy makes good. Dividing up precincts means more administrative costs. Been there, done that. Just reshuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I think this is the smartest thing Mayor Lovely has done so far. With Rochesters many problems caused by the black community it will be good to have a competent white police chief who is not afraid of dealling with them head on. He will be able to do his job without worrying about being called a "Chief Uncle Tom"
Overall I think Mayor Lovely is sending a very smart message to all. It's a new day in town.

The RPD police department is raciest. Why she not go to another city and find a black chief? These white police need to control themselves around the city. They think they can do anything to us blacks and get away with it. This white dude chief he done nutin so far for the city.
Sound Off

You sound like a typical black racist with a BIG chip on your shoulder. Get over it.

THE RPD are racist. We blacks are sick of it. Who they think they are attacking us for nothing with mace and clubs? I was on Main Street and was attacked by the RPD. They treated me like I be an animal or somting..

It was obvious that the black chiefs were only picked because they were black and they could use that in their defense when beating up and abusing black people.
Do you really think the last black chief who resorted to mailing threatening letters to so called "gang members" qualified??

Its been 2 months and no rpd has beat up or abused a black person, why is that???
I know they are trying hard not to get in trouble, but sooner or later one of them are going to do it, and when they do, I can't wait to see and hear our new White Police Chief and new Black Mayor have to say about it, cause I'm sure they both are not going to blindly support white racist officers.

I so hope you are right. We need a police chief that respects our people and not one that treats us like animals. I hope he works out and I wish him luck

Then tell your people to stop acting like wild, savage animals. My people are fed up with it.
I also wish him luck because he sure needs it. You can only expect so much from police when they have to deal with who they have to deal with 24/7/365.

Richards didn't pick anyone....Duffy appointed Chief Uncle Tom. After he fired the previous black Chief.

Surely even nickbo would agree that 5 white cops beating up an amputee in a wheelchair is a pure act of wild savage animals.
Your people, and you white cops, live in the burbs, and your all free to stay there.
The time of us paying you to come into the city wearing a uniform to abuse us are OVER.
We expect them to do their job and nothing less or more.

I think Mayor Lovely made a great decision but will say I think she should have kept Chief Uncle Tom to begin with.
That said what upsets me now is I will have to tune in to @ss hole Lonsberry monday to hear him tell us exactly why Lovely made the decision she did.
We all know the arse wipe will be the self proclaimed world wide expert on this.

And why did he fire the black police chief??? We were never told? Wasn't it about how he was willing to do an interview about about a white guy who died in his driveway in the 19th ward because the RPD was going through shift change and it took them too long to respond and that there is a rule that prevents EMT's from taking a shooting victim to the hospital with out the RPD first arriving on the scene and giving them permission???

Her highness Warren announced "I did not look at any resumes or anything. I just decided because Rochester needs a Police chief now." Bad process your highness. The city had an interim chief. But you don't have time to look over applicants? Selection by intuit. Oh brother, are we in for a city mess.

Next to Moore and Warshaw, this is arguably the most professional Police Chief Rochester has ever had. He's everything but, "up from the ranks"......lawyer, former prosecutor, Deputy Chief at the DEA, Chief of Police of Elmira NY.......hard to accomplish while moving up the ranks of RPD. He was brought in by Duffy(Warshaw) to keep an eye on Chief Uncle Tom.

Hopefully, Rachel Firecrotch will FIOL the list of applicants to see what we may have missed out on.

Great thanks hashtag. Hopefully the new Chief can bring a model of professional working to the RPD. Community relations should be job ONE. Too many fcuk-ups with the public in the news.
