I can honestly say I have never, and never would leave my sleeping or awake child alone in a car, absolutely, positively, with out a doubt, no way would I ever be that irresponcible with the life my children.

Your wording here brings to mind the typical excuses used for leaving kids alone in a car, parking in a fire lane, parking in a handicap zone, and so on. "I only left them in there for a minute." "I only parked there for a few minutes."
