The city is arguing that it camera's violating our rights is only a civil matter, and not a criminal one.

Red light cameras violate the constitution ... that makes it a federal matter!

someone put up a link to this guy's legal defence fund! I wanna donate!

Was definitely against the cameras, not now. Moved next to a camera monitored intersection. Huge drop in accidents there; my unscientific guess about 2/3 drop. Since our area drivers are ranked among the worst in the nation (Allstate), a drop in accidents can only help the costs of auto insurance going forward, not to mention property damage and injuries. I say: Bring em' on.

I hope these cameras go away.

Or put these cameras up in the police & Judges neighborhood and lets see how many tickets they get.

Keep these cameras in use they prevent incidents that the cops won't take care of.

They have never released any stats that they even cut down the number of accidents.
And what are you talking about that there will be incidents that police will not take care of?? So there is an accident and cops don't come??
I didn't say they released stats.

Police lately have been letting people do crimes and have not been arrested (not always getting away though) the cameras record intersections and if anything happens its on camera!
