I heard on the 11 oclock news that it is illegal for the Pennsylvania fireworks companies to sell to the state residents. So they have to sell to out of staters like NYS, Ohio, etc.

You will be issued a violation "if you are caught selling"

So don't sell them, just fire them off.

I love how using fireworks to celibate "the land of the free" is no longer allowed ... maybe it's because it's the end of the land of the free.

If we all buy fireworks and shoot them off, they can't arrest us all, can they? Civil disobedience.

You are correct you have to show an out of state ID to even enter the firework shops in PA. As for doing them here in NY there are some places like the town I have a cottage on a lake in the southern tier that looks the other way on fourth of July weekend and leaves good hard working people alone who just want to be American.
Places like the 1000 Islands and Sodus Bay are loaded with people doing the same thing. A couple people I know packed a car and went down to PA to get hundreds of dollars worth of fireworks, and I'm sure they weren't the only ones. Imagine how much revenue would be generated if we had even one or two local fireworks stores?
