Penfield man charged with patronizing a prostitute

Mar 4, 2010 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: WHEC-TV Rochester

A 67-year-old Penfield man has been arrested and charged with patronizing a prostitute in the third-degree. The investigation that led to the arrest of Melvin Pisetzner began when a 19-year-old male told police he had met Pisetzner in an online chat.

Here's the bottom line: He is not guilty of anything at all and has no idea what the Irondequoit police are talking about and has initiated a civil suit against them for defamation, among other things. Now this forum should be shut down for good. It's gone way off topic and way ridiculous.

He's innocent of all charges. That's the bottom line.

I AGREE. ESPECIALLY IF IRONDEQUOIT CHARGED HIM. THEY ARE AS CORRUPT AS GREECE. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ESPECIALLY BLACKS DRIVING IN THAT TOWN HAVE BEEN SET UP. THIS MAN IS INNOCENT. COMING FROM THE IRONDEQUOIT POLICE? IT'S A SET UP. I HOPE HE SUES THE CRAP OUT OF THOSE CORRUPT MOFOS. IRONDEQUOIT AND GREECE MUST BE STOPPED. SHUT DOWN THE FORUM AND FREEDOM OF SPEECH BECAUSE HE IS ALLEDGED TO HAVE PATRONIZED A PROSTITUTE? I DON'T THINK SO. WE DON'T LOVE HIM LIKE THAT TO GIVE UP OR CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOMS. NONE THE LESS, IF IRONDEQUOIT, GREECE, PENFIELD AND PITTSFORD CHARGES YA, IT'S A SET UP! I BELIEVE HE WAS SET UP! A PROSTITUTE WAS HOW NICK JOSEPH GOT FROM THE SCENE FROM GREECE. SHE AND HE ARE ON TAPE AT THE BAR AND GRILL. HE HAD HIS BROTHER'S CAR SO HIS WIFE DIDN'T CATCH HIM.

I don't condone pandering. The man charged should get arrested for stupidity. There are plenty of places in Rochester and on line Rochester to meet legit prostitutes. This should be a warning to social websites that predators are cruising. I'm glad the kid turned the evidence over to police.

You are correct, for a change, lol. I still believe that prostitution should be legal and run by the state so it can be cleaned up, taxed and to stop the pimps from abusing their "girls". Every country that it is legal there is less cases of STDs and less crimes related to this sex trade. As much as I hate to see anymore government control of anything this is one thing that I think they should control it if for nothing else to clean it up.

We already have the govt. taking care of prostitution; the criminal justice system, and they are doing a piss poor job. All police really do is to keep prostitution from getting out of hand. I agree about legalizing prostitution because it would take out the criminal attractions that surround this issue, drugs, pimps, trafficking, thefts, blackmails, and murders. (Lots of Rochester's murders are the results of johns picking up the wrong tricks.) But trying to get it legalized, looks like condoning, bring out a huge conservative push back. It's a low priority in law enforcement having worked with cops.

We needn't go [way] off course debating whether prostitution ought be legal or which police force has the worst reputation [admittedly, Irondequoit has long been a strong contender]. Likewise, as with a conversation addressing our civil liberties, there are many a forum for those conversations. Here, let's focus on Dr. P. Here's my opinion, one based upon a twenty-five-year professional relationship.

Throughout that entire span of time, Dr. P has, amongst many other positives: always been there whenever needed; helped many people and done so free of charge when they could not otherwise afford the high-cost [and rare/minisucle reimbursement] accorded mental health considerations, and always shown a genuine empathy for the problem and encouragement for the future of all in need. When such personal traits - and the concomitant action - encompass the vast majority of the person, don't we have a pretty good idea what kind of soul (s)he [Dr. P] has? I know I do. TY.

P.S.: In reference to a couple of prior comments, it is worthwhile to note that while a 19 year-old is typically lacking in life experiences & wisdom, any description of him as a "kid" - and far, far, worse, that of the Doctor as a "predator" or "pedophile" - consist of tems absurdly out of place.

I have been a patient of Melvin Pisetzners for many years. When I was in a crisis he came in early to see me. He has spent many hours doing paper work for me without pay. He is a good Doctor and an asset to our community. He loves his job. He has been proven in court of nothing as of yet. I feel for all of his patients who may not get the benifit of his years of experience and may have to scramble to find a new doctor who will most likly not be accepting new patients.

Good wishs to you Dr Pisetzner
