The will raise the debt limit at the last minute. Nothing will happen. We will continue to go in debt until we have a financial collapse in a few years. The dollar will be worth shit. Pension will be worth shit. A Big Mac may cost 8 bucks. Gas 20 dollars a gallon. It will happen cause the idiots will not stop the spending. Its out of control and the fed keeps printing money out of thin air to pay for it all. No one wants to deal with it. The USA will not be a nice place to live soon.$300 a month will be you pay just like the rest of the world.

Plus the 500 billion in aide every year to foreign countries that burn our flag and chant down with America. Plus the waste in spending all over America on projects that are not needed like our new Train Station in Rochester for 15million and a new train station in Niagara Falls for 40 million. It will end in a big crash.

Here is a great story about how the town shut down the division that investigates welfare fraud, and almost immediately, there were several people who worked for welfare stole benefits!

As I continue my rant about corruption ...
Here is a story about corruption with the BBB.

A company that is all about helping consumers finding businesses that they can trust, and yet, you can't trust the BBB!

What's next, Consumer reports?

Our government holds the small offenders accountable, but the BIG offenders, they let off the hook, as long as they get a cut of the action.

This is corruption ... and we just sit back, and vote for our party!

The shut down is in effect. I don't plan on visiting the Statue of Liberty tomorrow.

All three SS workers were black. Did they ever go to jail for this or did they all get a slap on the wrist?? The gentleman fraud investigator who lost his job, has my utmost respect for totally isolating himself from the rotten system even though he qualified for benefits himself.

The biggest shame is that the very members of our government that are responsible for this shutdown will be the last ones effected by it.
They are so far insulated from their own actions.
It is tough to say that they are OUR representatives ... anything that they have in common with the rest of america is purely coincidental.

They are exempt from obama-care, insider trading and can't even be arrested if congress is in session.

I am hoping that some of the worst parts of government spending is the first to go.

I would love to see the TSA, DHS, NSA & ATF all get furloughed!

These agencies are the biggest waste of money!!!

If the American people were to see how much better their lives were without this government meddling, they might even welcome a government shutdown!

Unfortunately, the parts of government that will shut down, are designed to hurt the masses to get us to put pressure on political opponents!

We are just pawns to these power hungry politicians!

Why do we have BOTH an NSA & a DHS?
Aren't they redundant?
both are a HUUUGH (thanks billy) drain our our taxes, and they don't play well with each other.

So why do we need two government agencies to spy on U.S. citizens using taxpayer's dollars?

And while we're at it .. Why do we need an ATF?
Alcohol, Tobacco & firearms are all legal.

Funny, This D.C. shooting is a great example of how the gummint screws the people but won't sacrifice themselves.

An angry woman tries to crash the gate of the white house with her kid in the car ... Two D.C. cops were shot ... and they are working without pay. They MIGHT be paid back pay, but there are no promises.

Our congressmen & senators who are NOT working are still getting their full pay, benefits and freebees.

I hope this shutdown moves into the debt ceiling problem.

And with it, they start cutting funding to the least necessary acencies.

Starting with the NSA!!!

They shut down Armed Forces Network & radio ... with an auto message saying it was because of the shutdown.

Yet every airport I want through, there was no shortage of fat TSA goons.

This administration is more full of spite than any other before it.

Too willing to sacrifices the masses before them selves!

Maybe we could save some money by cutting fraud? In NY alone, more than $500,000 was payed out to those who should not have received.
So, nationwide, how much total was wasted?
