Wind causes outages in the Rochester area

Powerful wind gusts caused power outages in the Rochester area Friday, including one affecting 839 customers in Irondequoit, according to RG&E. Repair crews were at the scene by 10:30 Friday night, but RG&E had not determined when power would be restored.

Don't blame the wind, Blame all the faulty lines that RG&E has NOT maintained since the Ice Storm and although they give their workers raises and overtime pay, they don't use the money to keep up the wires that carry the overcharged power to peoples homes and businesses.
I think that everybody would be way better off if National Grid took them over, then you'd see less outages and/or less repair times!
