Money talks and B/S walks.Same old game but new players. Follow the money people and you will find out that the people we elect to office(both parties) think they are above the law and can do whatever they want.Just saying.

Where are all the harsh and racially charge comments for this group of the entitled that you have for the poor and minorities??? Hypocrite!

In Monroe County is not "both parties"!
Just the GOP that's giving/stealing/redirecting not millions but, billions of the Taxpayer's money. The IDA is only the tip of the iceberg.
Look into the Monroe County LDC's and the Authority's. They are siphoning off almost as much money as those you have so much disdain for.

Crony capitalism is bad, it creates a form of corporate welfare with favoritism, businesses are artificially propped up by your tax dollars in return for lining the politicians' pockets, competition is stifled.
On the other hand: Creating a good environment to do business is good. Lowering certain taxes(lowering the cost of doing business) increases the amount of business, increases the amout of business being done, increases employment, increases the tax base, revenue increases. Fair competition lowers costs to consumers.
It is a balancing act that requires transparency and informed involved voters.

Not with Maggie Crooks in office. Transparency and informed involved voters are the last thing her administration wants.
