Chad Rahn Trial Underway

Rochester, N.Y.- Opening statements began Wednesday morning in the trial of suspended Irondequoit Police officer Chad Rahn.

Valentino, convict him and send him to prison w/ his old man. Make sure he can never have a job in law enforcement, not even as a mall security guard or even as an over night watchman at a dump or dog catcher.

You know this type of things of cops being dirty and giving out information to people like drug dealers are a normal thing.
They are only after Chad because of his dad and because he took too much time out of work while getting paid after running over and killing a woman.

If he didn't take soo much time off, and his dad wasn't who is dad is, nothing would have happened with this.

Does not sound like they have much on him. They have to connect the dots BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT. I can't see that, sounds like all speculation on the DA's part, at least so far. I think he was setting uo Arena for arrest. Just my opionion, things may change to prove me wrong, maybe.

Chad waived his right to a jury trial because he knew he'd lose. The judge will call this one.
It stinks like a fish and I think that the evidence against him is strong, but not bullet-proof however.
I think that the outcome will say a lot about local judicial politics more than right or wrong. His old man didn't get off so lucky.

Chad wnated a Trial by Judge, instead of Trial by Jury, so he wouldn't have to call the Town Clerk to find out all the names of the people that sent him to jail. This he has the name of the one person, even before he goes to jail.

My sister in law works for the local news media there and covers a lot of trials. She says that no direct link yet, just circumstantial. She says judge has not heard anything compelling yet, in HER opinion as a veteran journalist. She was on the money with the dad.

She also says this judge is an independent thinker, no one can influence him, has BALLS. She thinks a motion to dismiss after the states case may fly if the DA has not got anything more substantial. Already some case law issues that have merit, she says.

chad rahn leaving the county when he first gets out gets a ticket for speeding and paroll does nothing. wtf this guy never learns because he never gets punished. last week hes sending his friends pictures of him on vacation in front of the white house in washington dc. this is a joke bet they just give him his police badge back also
