The verdict was correct under the Law .

Ya have to find a person guilty beyond ac reasonable doubt .

The ME couldn't say which bullet was fired first .

No testimony of the distances ,etc.

Too many doubts .

The jurors were deadlocked as of 430pm, the judge sent them back in and 4 hours later they come back with this? The jury went back in the room and said, "It's the weekend before a holiday, lets get this done and finish our shopping." I don't agree what those kids were doing, but he shouldn't have been shot and killed. I think he got off way too easy for this, but like they say...."What comes around goes around."

I have a legal hand gun.
Does this verdict mean that it is my civic duty to go outside to confront any sounds I hear in the middle of the night with my gun out in my hand and a round in the chamber?????

I guess I'd have to do it every night as I live in the City.

YES! This was the right verdict. I don't know why it took so long. To the Cervini family - YOU are to blame for what happened. It was your lack of parental control that brought this on.

That is what I am now worried about. Please if you are my neighborhood, please call the police and don't take a loaded gun across the street and shoot anyone to detain them when you do not have training in this type situation. A shot in the leg would have detained someone not from ahooting in the upper body. Those of you who believe anyone who does stealing it is okay to shoot them if you are not an officer by law, please pray to GOD for better guidance in your life and hope something does not happen to you in this kind of situation to anyone in your family. It is sad for both the Scott family (for him making a bad decision) and also the Cervini family for the loss of your son (I know he made bad choices too, but no one deserves to die in this type situation)

Praise the Lord!!! The Judicial System is Alive and Working. I knew it in the depths of my soul that Mr. Scott was innocent. Had Cervini not been out breaking the law....maybe today he would be alive.

..........BRING YOUR KIDS UP TO STEAL AND PILLAGE then suffer the consequences....the world is going down the toilet because of the vast ignorance of the public in general~think about it ~ why do you think there are so many laws... to keep the ignorant safe.......rape-rob and pillage the the supressed who work so hard to make ends meet and bad things happen.

YEA!!!! Nobody on the prosecutions side is holding these boys accountable for their criminal actions. Yes,it was a tragedy that someone lost their life, but if you're going to do something illegal, a lot of bad things can come out of it. Those boys made a conscious decision to go out and do something illegal, and need to be accountable!!!
