...topic...so I do no like to see belittling on either side. Over 100 of the smartest topixees on here is simply amazing.
If you Google Cookie Parker Topix you will get a chance to read some of her posts. What you will see is that she is a troll who goes from forum to forum and thread to thread trying to disrupt. She is only on this forum because she followed Pagan here and will try to damage her credibility. KOOKS has a long history of posting lies and inflammatory statements about other posters and revealing personal information about them. For some reason unknown to all of us, the mods let her continue to be a disruptive lie monger and force the rest of us to put up with her.

It's best not to engage her in any conversation at all. She desperately seeks attention and will always up the ante when she is not getting the attention she desires.

I strongly suggest you do some Google research on her. She is a dangerously unstable individual.

Hey SD, Pagan, Loon Buster and lets not forget that she came to the Paducah, Ky thread also because she thinks I live there as that is where I grew up and still consider my home town. She doesn't get that gang members don't usually want help but will take whatever they can get. In the early 90's, a young man was killed in Paducah, I knew his parents but not their son. Good kid driving down a main road, gets car jacked and killed just for a gang initiation and for the few dollars that he had but of course, Kooks will say the kid was in the wrong. Drug addicts have to seriously want help and even drug courts as great as they are and demanding as the program is often see repeat offenders. I have seen the recidivism rate of those offenders and the numbers are high in both teens and adults. They want the lure of the money that they think they can get with drugs but not work an honest job at all like most people. Kooks posts some of the most mundane shyte I have ever seen but the fact remains that she has no clue what life is like in a huge urban city such as Chicago, Dallas, Albany, Memphis, Nashville or Louisville.

Yup, she was trolling you too.

They walk out in traffic hoping to stop a car so they can rob the driver. They don't want jobs. If any of them wanted a job they could get one.

Exactly and her stupid remarks about posting links well she just skips over them just like I said that she would probably run if she ever ran into a real gangbanger and she made the comment about her work history. What the heck, does her work history have to do with gang bangers-not a darn thing. Most people who are getting a government handout, don't want to get off the assistance and don't want the help either, if they did they would be getting off of it. Now, with that being said there are some who get off of it and then there are some who could use the help and refuse it because they don't want it but too many want to stay on the assistance and not work at all.

No, they are often too smart for the police. I imagine even one tough detective would not be able to stop the gang members back then. It is good that there was a tough detective but he would not have been able to stop them. Gangs have been around forever- think about it, the Mafia has gang members, you have the Bloods, the Crips, Latin Kings, and Asian gangs.

The problem is the courts. Law enforcement arrests them and the courts give em light sentences or just lets them walk. That and the fact that they breed like rats and even if some are sent to prison for a long time is always more and more to take their place.
It is really sad for the kids, they do not have a chance. Tossing handouts to them is not going to help. It just keeps em alive long enough to breed more. It never ends.

Yeah, I know the courts' hands are often tied in these matters because they have to go by the law written on the books. It is sad and they often learn new gang tactics while in prison and of course, getting out of a gang can be just as deadly as being in one. You are right they breed like rabbits in order to get more of that government handout.

family court
Does not always work and does not seem to make a difference to deadbeat dads ...some of whom have fathered 5 children by 3 women. These kids are in poverty. Some dad's sport big watches, gold necklaces et. Al. Heard of one girl who only gets $25.oo for two children a month.dad on ssi. Is there an advocate for poor young moms in family court because these guys are narcissists and have no empathy. In other words they are a.holes.

You are right on that and in some family courts; the judges don't want to hold the fathers accountable. I don't get it.

True but just showing that even the Mafia is and was considered a gang. Of course, the difference is that the Mafia was working for a crime boss unlike the gangs today who have no desire to do any type of work at all but get that Obama handout they think they should get.

I think it boils down to those that feel bad that they must acceptance from others and those who say, "I'm entitled to it ."

Yep and there are plenty who think they are entitled to it without doing a day of work.
